Chapter 98 - Chapter 97

Hex pov

"She has a nice figure," my father spat, drunk, sneering. "And she's wild… untamed. You know… I'd like to see her—just once. She belongs to me. You think you're brave, Hex? You're nothing. And she… she's mine."

I could barely breathe. My fury boiled inside me, helpless to act because the cuffs still held me Ci-N couldnt remove it . I hate Nathan . I hate him so much.

Keifer's fist slammed into his stomach, knocking the breath out of him. Blood sprayed from his mouth. Then he grabbed him again, slamming him against the wall, step on his hand. "How dare you touch him. How dare you insult her. You have no idea who you're dealing with!"

I felt tears prick the back of my eyes. My fists ached from the cuffs, my heart pounded, but finally… rescue had arrived.

The police arrived moments later, securing my father, removing my cuffs. I rubbed my wrists, feeling the warmth of freedom for the first time in two days.

Keifer didn't wait. He was already at my side, lifting me effortlessly into his arms. My body felt heavy, but safe. I hugged him tightly, burying my face in his chest. Finally… someone I trust. Finally… someone I know can protect me.

"You're safe now, Hex," Keifer whispered. I could feel the tension in his chest, the anger that hadn't faded.

The police officer assured us, "Don't worry. He'll be in prison for a long time."

The Section E boys crowded around, hugging me while I was still in Keifer's arms. I felt the warmth of camaraderie, protection, and relief.

"How did you guys get in there?" I asked, still breathless, glancing toward the windows. "There were people outside."

Keifer's lips curled in a small, confident smirk as he stepped outside. "You mean them?" His hand gestured casually, and I froze. Fifteen men were sprawled on the ground, knocked out cold.

Fifteen men… and they're all down? I swallowed hard, awe mixing with lingering fear.

"Let's go," Keifer said, carrying me toward the car. "Someone's waiting for you."

And as we drove away, my chest lightened. Jayjay didn't know yet… but she'd never have to see what I had gone through. Not today. Not ever.
