Jayjay POV
After school, the results were finally posted. Keifer and I walked over together, trying to stay casual, though my stomach was doing backflips. I had studied, yes, but you never really knew until you saw the numbers.
I peeked at the board. "Alright… let's see."
Keifer leaned closer, smirking. "Don't faint, Jayjay."
I rolled my eyes. "I won't faint. Just—let's see."
There they were. Keifer got 89, David 92, Ci-N 85, and Yuri… 99. I couldn't help smiling at his score. Then my eyes landed on mine: 94. I glanced at Keifer. "Not bad, right?"
He nodded, impressed. "Pretty solid. You actually studied."
I smirked. "Shocking, huh? Who knew I could focus?"
As we turned to leave, I noticed some chatter around the other students—Ella teasing Aries about her score, Aries laughing , It was the usual mix of chaos and laughter you always found at the results board.
Keifer nudged me. "Come on, we're heading to Emma's. You know, to celebrate—or to argue about food."
I groaned. "Oh, yh but let go and pick up hex so that it will be a suprise for him"
Kiefer agreed and started driving to hex school
