A long table of polished white stone stretched across the room. Its edges were lined with intricate gold engravings depicting wings, halos, and divine runes. Crystal glasses rested beside golden cutlery, while plates of rare porcelain held the finest food the empire could offer.
Freshly prepared steaks, warm bread, fruit from distant lands, rich soups, and delicately seasoned omelets covered the table.
