After that whole incident with those four idiots, I didn't waste any more time on the street. I immediately started searching around the city for a place to stay and eventually found my way into a decent-looking inn that had a large stable and even allowed guests to bring their animals inside the rooms with them.
The price for a stay there was only 10 silvers a day, which covered the room and even included feeding Bong and giving some treats to Onyx. While I did still have to pay extra for my own daily meals— that would really only be another silver coin or two added to the bill.
'Also, money is not really a problem for me anyway, so whatever.'
Anyway, after settling Bong into the stable and making sure he was fed— I went back into the inn and headed up to the room I had rented, bringing Onyx along with me.

Onyx immediately jumped up onto the bed and started playing around on his own, chasing his tail like a complete idiot... he looks really cute doing it, though.
