The sound of sharp edges of heels hitting the concrete floor of the dark alley made the atmosphere feel more spooky and cinematic. Somehow the owner of the heels also felt the current situation deserved that kind of entrance.
What about her life wasn't dramatic anyway? Sometimes she thought she might be living in a tragic action movie.
A few black men stood silently across the alley. It was dark but their white shirt underneath their black suit made a perfect appearance even in such low light.
Only her outfit felt like a contradiction to both the location and the situation.
"Did you get it done?"
She asked without looking at those standing men, but addressing them anyway.
Silence followed her question.
