The new of Celina and Max engagement spread across both families quickly.
Within a week, preparation in the NYC exploded like fireworks.
At Mariano mansion
Jasfer sat with his laptop open, jeana with her planner, and Celina with her three phone buzzing non-stop. The engagement was just two weeks away, and the Watson family would be arriving in full strength.... Cousin, uncle, aunts, grandparents.
A whole army.
Which means.....
Hotels. Guest house. Apartment. Cars. Drivers. Security. Event managers. Decoration teams. Chefs.
Everything had to be arranged to perfection.
Accommodation planning
1. Luxury apartments
Celina scrolled though properly listings.
Celina : " Dad, we should book the 4 luxury apartments near midtown. Max's elder cousins and their families can stay their. "
Jasfer : " Yes, and arrange personal driver for them. They will stay until the wedding is over, so it must be feel like home. "
2. Guest house
Jeana highlighted a location on the map.
Jeana : " There are two beautiful guest house near the beach. Perfect for Watson's uncle and aunts. They love peaceful place. "
Celina : " Great! I'll have the interiors cleaned and customized. Flowers, welcome baskets, everything top tier. "
3. Hotel suites for the rest of the Watson clan
Jasfer called his manager.
Jasfer : " Book the entire top three floors are of Royal crown hotel. Yes, all of it. The Watson guests will stay there. "
Celina laughed.
Celina : " Ddad, they will think we're too extra!"
Jasfer : " We are extra. This is my daughter's engagement. "
Jeana smiled proudly.
Event docar teams & security.
Two event companies were hired.
One for designing the engagement Hall
One for handling the wedding and pre-wedding function.
Security team were assigned to every guest house and hotel to protect both families privacy.
At Watson mansion
Keizer ans serina were stunned when they received the accommodation plans from the Marianos.
Serina : " This is huge. They're really treating everyone like royalty. "
Max : " That's Celina's family after all. "
Keifer skimmed through the PDF Celina sent to Max.... Mentioning penthouse, hotel, drive
Keifer : " They booked entire floor? "
Max : " You know how they are. Very generous. "
Keifer nodded but didn't comment.
Inside, he thought:
This family is definitely something else.
Meanwhile Jay in Mariano mansion
Jay was running around the hall, excited, anxious and happy.
She wasn't involved in the heavy planning, but she kept the whole house alive.
Laughing with maids.
Dancing around rooms.
Helping decorate ideas.
Asking 100 question per minute .
The mansion buzzed because she was there.
With out her, silence would swallow the place whole.
After a long day of preparation, Celina looked at the endless to-do list and signed.
Celina : " Mom, dad.... This engagement is going to be huge. "
Jasfer : " Of course. Our daughter is getting engaged. And we are welcoming the Watson family. "
They looked at each other proudly.
The countdown had officially begun.
