Chapter eighty three: In which he was apathetic
Latisha Stelling barely has secrets of her own. Others, though, kept her mind as a bank. For instance, the one she kept for her husband regarding the foundation for his company. Although it has been salvaged, it would forever remain a ticking time bomb that if found by others would rally the group of companies into nothing but mere dust.
More reason she hadn't been so worried about Anna losing the company. The old lady couldn't say she was glad Anna's work went in vain but the motherly part of her who knew the foundation of the company was happy her daughter was off it. For now. At least she hoped until the smoke covered the entire company and Gigi took the fall for what her husband had been involved in.
Perhaps by then Anna could return and build up the company from scratch. Fine and unstained by the type of people her father has once done business with.
