Gifting and some dining congratulations.
The gift was preciously prepared with great effort and some mana enchantments.
Aurelion asks Lyra to get some pretty showcase box to wrap the pendant in it and present it, from the storage rooms.
Lyra went quickly to fetch the box.
After a while, she came back with a pink glitter box in her hand. Aurelion placed the pendant inside it after activating the radiating effect on it.
" Your Highness, I wanted to inform you that the dinner table has been finally set and Her Majesty has been notified of your arrival."
"She is waiting for you right now downstairs." Lyra notified Aurelion.
"LET'S GO." Aurelion roared.
Aurelion along with Lyra, departed to the dining area.
He came down the vast luxurious looking stairs which were connecting to a single stair downwards itself. Another set of staircase came from the opposite side of his room and different corridor and this one came from his side and in the middle, they merged with the stair which was place in between of them pointing downwards. They walked through that.Then, they took the turn towards the dining area.
After a while, he enters the area. When he entered the room, the maids were standing in a straight line behind the dining table.
The dining table, a glass marble kind, had eight chairs - three on each side and one at each corners.
His mother was sitting at one of the three chairs on the right side, the one on his farthest.
"Hey little moon, come sit with mommy." Selene waves at Aurelion inviting him to sit with her. Lyra walked straight and stood along with the other maids.
"Did you miss mommy, little moon? "
"They informed me that you were waiting to dine with me." Selene muttered.
Aurelion walked to the table and sat in the middle chair on the left side of Selene.
"I wanted to congratulate you, mother." Aurelion smiled.
"I apologize my baby. I forgot to tell you, well I got to know about this recently too."
"I guess, your father must have told you."
Selene smiled and held Aurelion's hand.
"My lovely baby is going to become a big brother soon."
She signalled the maids to start serving the food to the plates.
The table had various types of dishes, some peaches, raisins, fruits and vegetables.
But Aurelion was focused on the maid dish which was placed in the center of the table — A Venison Steak, Aurelion's favorite dish.
The maids came in front, walking with dignity. One maid covered Aurelion's lap with a serviette, and put the utensils in front of his chair. Another put the peaces as side in his plate.
"Give little moon the steak, it's his favorite." Selene instructed.
"Yes, your highness. I was prepping for that particularly." The maid bowed.
The maid cut a nice slice of the huge steak placed in the center. She placed it nicely with juices dripping beautifully on the plate.
Aurelion tooks a tender cut. The steak was perfectly cooked.
DAMN THESE ROYAL ETIQUETTES, I WANT TO SIMPLY DEVOUR THIS THING WHOLE. THE BEST PART OF BEING BORN WITH A GOLDEN SPOON IS EATING THESE TYPES OF DELICACIES ON A DAILY BASIS AND STILL NOT WORRYING ABOUT THE MONEY.
Though on the outside, Aurelion still maintained his image perfectly, without showing a sliver of hint of disgraceful eating habits.
The dining took a while. The mood was pleasant. Selene would make some light jokes and Aurelion would be laughing, a perfect vibe.
Eventually, the dinner was finished.
Aurelion very gracefully picks up the serviette, folds it and places it side of the plate.
Lyra comes to his side with a clean cloth and neatly hands it to him.
Aurelion gently uses that cloth to clean his mouth and fingertips, showcasing a perfect aristocratic action.
"Lyra." He puts his palm in front.
Lyra takes out the box and puts it on his palm.
"Here mother, this is for you." Aurelion says.
"What is this little moon?" Selene asks.
"A present to congratulate you properly." Aurelion smiles.
"There was no need for that. Just you dining with me today itself is a present with me." Selene puts her hand on the box to give it back to him.
SILLY ME, I SHOULD HAVE ATE DINNER WITH MOM MORE OFTEN. Aurelion thought.
Aurelion would mostly eat his meals in his room itself to save time for his mana training. Although he used to spend some time with his parents in the daytime but most of it was when he used to train in the training grounds or the times when Selene used to call him for tea.
"Don't worry Mother, I will be dining with you more frequently from now on." Aurelion smiled.
"But I still believe a proper gift would suit this occasion." He continued.
He put the box on Selene's hand.
"I made it for you with usi—."
"Woah, YOU MADE THIS FOR ME." Selene interrupted.
"That's so lovely."
She opened the glitter box.
"WAIT LITTLE MOON, THIS IS—"
