Chapter 62 - Chapter 62: Zoro: I want to join the crew. Kevin: Get lost!

Isshin Dojo!

Kevin and Kuina's father, Genzo, sat facing each other.

Kevin had already explained his purpose.

He wanted to take Kuina out to sea.

Kuina stubbornly looked at her father: "I must go out to sea. I want to follow the captain. I want to become the Strongest Swordsman."

Genzo looked helplessly at his stubborn daughter.

His expression held both apology and worry.

Finally, he sighed deeply: "Go."

Genzo looked at Kevin with a pleading gaze.

He had already recognized Kevin's identity.

He opened his mouth as if to speak but then stopped.

It turned into a long sigh, and he said nothing more.

"Don't worry, Kuina will be safe with me out at sea. I will protect her completely." Kevin, of course, understood Genzo's worries.

"Then I'll leave it to Mr. Kevin."

Genzo, as a father, bowed deeply to Kevin.

Just then.

From outside the noisy door, a child's voice came: "Get out of the way, hurry up and get out of the way."

A scruffy, green-haired boy rushed in.

It was Zoro.

He looked anxiously at Kuina: "Kuina, I heard you're leaving with pirates. You can't, I haven't defeated you yet, you can't leave."

"Zoro, this is my dream. Are you going to stop my dream?"

Zoro's voice stopped abruptly.

He looked at the determined Kuina.

Zoro silently lowered his head, unable to say another word of retention.

After a moment of silence.

Zoro looked up again, staring straight at Kevin: "Please take me out to sea too. I also want to become the Strongest Swordsman."

Kevin rubbed his temples.

Why was there another one?

Ace and Sabo were enough, and now even Zoro was like this.

Believe it or not, I'll immediately find the Okama King and have him change all of your genders.

"Mr. Kevin, if possible, please take Zoro. Zoro's talent is very strong, and he will definitely be able to help you in the future." Genzo spoke up for Zoro.

As a teacher.

He knew better than anyone Zoro's talent in swordsmanship.

His future was limitless.

Zoro: "Please let me board your ship!"

Kevin: "Get lost!"

"Young man, your path isn't here with me. I'll be waiting for you at the peak of the sea." Kevin felt like saying these words had already become a conditioned reflex for him.

Zoro was stunned.

For him, as a child, he couldn't immediately grasp the deeper meaning of that sentence.

Kuina chirped, "Zoro, my Captain is a Great Swordsman."

"A Great Swordsman?"

Zoro's eyes lit up.

"I want to challenge you." Zoro drew his bamboo sword.

"Are you an idiot? You can't even beat me, and you dare challenge my Captain? Do you believe I'll throw you out right now?"

Kuina's voice couldn't deter Zoro's impulse to challenge.

His gaze didn't flinch as he stared directly at Kevin.

"Make your move."

Kevin decided to grant Zoro this small wish.

Zoro held his sword with both hands, his small face filled with solemnity.

He displayed his best possible state.

"Why aren't you drawing your sword? Why aren't you standing up?" Before making his move, Zoro looked at Kevin, who was still sitting motionlessly, with confusion.

"This is my sword."

Kevin extended one finger.

"Are you kidding me?" Zoro was enraged.

He felt looked down upon.

He charged forward furiously, baring his fangs and claws, swinging his bamboo sword with all his might at Kevin.

"Clang!"

The finger lightly blocked the incoming bamboo sword.

With a flick of his bent finger.

The bamboo sword vanished into thin air.

It shattered into dust invisible to the naked eye.

Zoro stared blankly at the bamboo sword, which now only had a hilt.

What happened?

Genzo's pupils constricted at that moment.

Although Kevin was playing with a child, Genzo saw an extremely high level of control over force from that single move.

"So strong."

So strong that he couldn't comprehend it at all.

"Captain, what kind of move was that? I want to learn it." Kuina looked at Kevin excitedly.

"Want to learn? I'll teach you."

Zoro's eyes turned green with envy.

Kevin took Kuina to pack their belongings.

They were ready to depart.

Zoro, as if soulless, remained stunned in place for a long time.

After Kevin and his group had left the Isshin Dojo.

He ran frantically, chasing after them, and at the shore, he saw the ship already sailing away.

"Wait for me! I will definitely defeat you!"

"Want to defeat my Captain? Zoro, you're still too early. Pass me first." Kuina waved the Wado Ichimonji, the famous sword in her hand: "Oh, and the Captain said that the Three-Sword Style suits you better."

"Three-Sword Style?"

Zoro suddenly felt as if a light bulb had gone off in his head.

He stood foolishly on the shore for a long time.

The Tomorrow had already disappeared from sight, and he still hadn't come back to his senses.

He kept muttering, "Three-Sword Style, Three-Sword Style, Three-Sword Style, Three-Sword..."

It was as if a bolt of lightning had struck Zoro's soul.

He rushed back to the dojo without hesitation.

He took out three bamboo swords.

He held two swords in his hands.

Then he looked at the third bamboo sword; he only had two hands, so how would he hold the third one?

He got it.

He bit the third sword with his mouth.

"This is the Three-Sword Style."

Zoro felt a sense of clarity he had never experienced before.

As he struck the Three-Sword Style pose, he knew that this was the fighting style best suited for him.

"Is this a true Swordsman? He can see my future at a glance."

Young Zoro's soul was utterly shaken.
