Chapter 9 - FINAL EPILOGUE

FINAL EPILOGUE: THE SEED GROWS FOREVER

...up at the statue of her great-great-grandmother with bright eyes. "A seed that will grow all over the world!"

The family gathered around as little Vivian walked to a patch of soil near the statue. With help from Lily, she carefully planted a small seed – one that had been grown in the Spiritual Spring Space, carrying the essence of every plant that had ever flourished there.

As they covered it with soil and watered it with spring water, something magical happened. The seed sprouted immediately, sending up a small green shoot that glowed with soft, warm light. Within minutes, it had grown into a small tree with leaves that sparkled like jewels in the sun.

On the wall of the main hall was a photo of Vivian standing in front of the Berlin Wall shortly after it fell – a reminder that even the biggest barriers can be overcome.

On Mars, the colony had grown to thousands of people, all living in sustainable communities that produced more food and energy than they needed. The central plaza of the colony was named Vivian Square, and at its heart stood a replica of the tree from the botanical garden on Earth. Every child born on Mars was given a small
