His words about innovation in the gaming industry had left the audience inspired, but Ishani Kapoor felt only unease. Dev carried himself like a man who had already conquered the world, and his confidence reminded her too much of Aarav.
Beside her, Sanya Mehta leaned in. "See? That's where Aarav gets it from. The Sen brothers think they're untouchable."
Ishani's lips tightened. She hated Aarav, but Dev's presence unsettled her in a different way. He wasn't just arrogant—he was calculating. And when his eyes met hers across the room, she felt the weight of being noticed.
Later, Dev approached her directly. "You have potential," he said smoothly. "I could use someone like you in my company. The gaming industry needs sharp minds, not just dreamers."
