It was a Saturday, literally a free day, he wasn't sure if Brown Caldwell usually goes out on Saturday to a club or bar or somewhere filled with women, but checking his schedule it's a free day, but not for Jasmine, "I'm going out with my girlies, we going out for shopping for the wedding prep, so see you later babe", she said as she walked out of the room with a nice scent of cologne sprayed on her red long dress, she looked perfect and beautiful, after the door closed behind her, he sat on the bed and laid flat staring at the ceiling, then a tear rolled down his eyes and all he said was a name before he closed his eyes, "Nathaniel"
Four days ago, Tuesday night.
Nathaniel Starr was the busy kind of guy, who looked really handsome and cute, he lived an average life, good job and standard living, every girl loved him but he's gay and has a boyfriend who was a jealous type but on the low side, he hates it whenever Nathaniel has a conversation with other guys in public and in his presence, that day, Nathaniel told him he will be out of town and won't be around for days, maybe a week, "hey babe", Nathan said over the phone, "hi darling, how you doing" his boyfriend replied, "I'm good and you?", Nathan asked, "just chilling at home but most especially bored", he answered, "well babe, sorry we have to cancel plans, because won't be around throughout the week, I'll be out of the state for work trip, so we have to cancel our date", Nathan said, "are you for real?, this isn't just a date, it's our anniversary", his boyfriend said his voice was sad and a hint of fury was there, 'yeah, I'm so sorry, we won't be able to celebrate out 4 years anniversary", Nathan said with a low voice, "but babe can't to schedule the trip for the next day, because this day really means a lot to me", he said over the phone, "I'm sorry but I can't, we can do it after the trip", Nathan said which made him even more fury, "fuck this bullshit, but its fine babe, we just have to wait till next year I guess", he replied after a long pause, "okay dear, fine". Nathan said and ended the call on him, on the other hand his boyfriend was shocked and knew he was up to something, he couldn't resist the feeling though, he can't have a business trip on a Tuesday all of a sudden, he got dressed up and waited till 6 PM, before he left his old looking apartment, the cold breeze of New York City embraced him, it was very cold and chilly that night, his instincts told him no one will be home but at the same time, he felt cold inside him, he boarded a taxi and went straight to Nathaniel's house, on reaching his house, he stood in front of the tall building, he heard very loud music playing from inside and his door was slightly opened. "I knew something was up", he walked inside slowly, he followed the sound of the music slowly till he reached his bedroom and that's where the music was playing from, he opened the door, low and behold he barged in on Nathaniel having intense and hot sex with his younger brother, Carlos, "what the fucking hell is going on here", he said, his body instantly froze and became weak, he couldn't breathe well, he knew his brother was gay too all this while but not with Nathaniel, "wait, Carlos, Nathaniel, what are you two doing on the same bed", he said his voice was very weak, he was shocked, "well, we've been together for over 4 years and we will be getting married soon", Carlos said without any remorse or guilt, "wow, 4 years too and getting married", he said with a shaking voice, his voice trembled badly as tears rolled down his eyes, "that's so cool, Nathaniel, you are going to pay dearly for this, mark my word!", he said with tears rolling down his eyes as he left the room, "just leave him darling", Carlos said, but Nathaniel stood up and wore his trousers immediately and followed him outside, "wait hold up, Julian, I'm really sorry", Nathaniel said and kept on apologizing as he kept on following him, "Just leave me alone and forget about me, this is not the first time I caught you cheating on me with other men, I literally forgave you, but here you are now, soon getting married to Carlos, I hate you Nathaniel, I'm fucking done!", Julian said, he was really angry and pained, he walked out of his house in anger and tears in his eyes, Nathaniel couldn't catch up with him, as Julian ran as fast as he could away from Nathaniel, Julian walked so hopelessly on the road, his heart was really shattered, he couldn't imagine his boyfriend has been with his brother for a very long time, he cried bitterly, until he made his way to a tall cupid water fountain, it looked beautiful but he was sad and heartbroken, he cried even more after remembering all his breakup and the guys who cheated on him, he loved Nathaniel so badly, but this night is about to take a dark turn, he stood there and stared at the moon and made a terrible but silent wish, a wish that turned his life around, he got what he wanted but the reality was just giving him a welcome greeting.
