MC released a deep breath.

The screen suddenly turned red.

Heavy rocks were pressing over him. Dust filled the air.
He realized he was trapped under large stones.
Where is Osho…? How do I get out of here…?

A weak voice echoed nearby.
"Kota… I'm here…"
Her voice was shaking with pain.
He tried to turn his body but couldn't move.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"My… both hands… and my left leg… are broken…" she said softly. "There's bleeding near my stomach too… what about you…?"
He checked himself and winced.

"My left arm… and back… some bones are broken… and my hand is bleeding too…"
She took a shaky breath.
Osho
"We need to get out… otherwise monsters will smell our blood… and kill us…"
MC
He knew she was right.
If I hide my powers… we both die here…
He made a decision.
"Osho… grab my hand."
Osho
"What? You have an idea?" she asked, a little hope in her voice.
MC
"Yes. Trust me."
He stretched his right hand through a gap in the rocks.

Without hesitation, she grabbed it tightly.
"I trust you," she whispered.
MC
Mana began gathering.

A barrier formed around both of them.

Osho's eyes widened.
"I didn't know you could use magic…"
MC began chanting.
"Explosion."
BOOM!
A loud blast shattered the rocks. Stones flew everywhere.
Fresh air rushed in.
"We're safe now," he said, breathing heavily.
Osho
"You're… so cool…" she said shyly, her cheeks slightly red.

I must use my skills carefully now… otherwise we'll die…
Suddenly—
Rustling sounds came from the forest.
Monsters.
Many of them.

"Kota… monsters are coming…" she said, fearfully.
MC stood up—

He looked at Osho.
She couldn't even stand.
No… I won't leave her here.
His eyes hardened.
"Holy Light."
A bright flash exploded.
The dragon roared, blinded.
"Area Scan."
A cave location appeared.
"Angel Wings."
White wings burst out from his back.
Osho stared in shock.
"You… you're so powerful…"
He picked her up.
"Hold tight.
WHOOSH—
They flew at high speed through the air.
Behind them, the dragon roared angrily.
The wind was too loud.
Osho
In a soft voice she whispered, "I love you…"
But he couldn't hear it.
MC
They landed inside the cave.
"Barrier."
A protective wall formed.
[System Notification]
MP remaining: 10%
MC
His legs gave out.
He collapsed.
"I'm… exhausted…"
"Are you okay?" he asked quickly.
He forced himself up and used healing magic to stop her bleeding.
Then he fell near her legs.
"I… can't move anymore…"
Sleep took him instantly.
After one hour.
Both were sleeping.
Morning light entered the cave.
MC slowly woke up and stretched.
"Good morning, Osho."
Osho
"G-good morning…" she replied shyly.
MC
"Why are you blushing?"
Osho
"N-nothing…"
MC
He gently placed his hand on her head.
"Basic Healing Spell."
Osho
Light covered her body.
Her broken bones healed.
She stood up happily.
"Yes! I'm fine now. Thank you…"
MC
His face turned serious.
"We need to leave this forest as fast as possible."
Osho
She nodded.
"Yes… if we stay longer, we'll die for sure."
He gave a small confident smile.
MC
"I have a plan."
Her eyes widened.
Osho
"What plan, Kota?"
He looked ahead calmly.
MC
"…The plan is—"
