Chapter 7 - Chapter 3:Old Connection Return

Om Parvati pataye Har Har Mahadev

In Mehra House

The morning in the Mehra house was already lively, but Namish's announcement made everyone light up.

"Malhotras aa rahe hain Mahashivratri par!" he said, grinning.

Excitement spread like wildfire. Everyone's faces lit up—except Shrishti, who froze, completely shocked.

"Ye toh apne bahut achhi baat batai!" Nisha exclaimed, practically bouncing in excitement.

"Haan, Nisha. Last time saat saal pehle mile the, baaki toh bas mobile pe baatein kar kar thak gaye hain," Kavya said, a soft smile on her lips, her eyes sparkling with the thought of everyone meeting again.

"Haan, sab saath honge toh maza aayega!" Krish added, his face glowing with happiness, his voice full of energy.

The house was buzzing now—everyone chattering, laughing, and planning. The excitement was infectious.

Shivanya glanced at Shrishti, noticing her distant, shocked expression.

"Tujhe kya hua?" she asked, nudging her gently.

Shrishti blinked and tried to pull herself together.

"Ha… haan, kuch nahi…" she said, her voice a little shaky.

Her mind, however, was racing. The thought of seeing Dhairya after seven long years had completely stunned her. She had stopped expecting it, yet now the reality was hitting her like a wave.

Shivanya, of course, knew everything—being her best friend, she could read her perfectly. Isha, noticing the excitement around her, smiled too, genuinely happy for what was about to happen.

"Aree, aap sab puri baat toh suno!" Namish called, raising his hands to get everyone's attention.

"Haan haan, bolo," Krish said, leaning forward eagerly.

"Vo log Rudraksha aur Isha ke rishte ki baat ke liye aa rahe hain," Namish said calmly, a teasing smile on his lips.

Isha's eyes widened in shock.

"Par… papa…" she stammered.

"Mujhe shaadi nahi karni," she added hesitantly, still processing the news.

"Beta, vo shaadi karne nahi aa rahe, bas milne aa rahe hain. Rudraksha se mil lena, pasand aaye toh thik, varna mana kar dena," Namish said, calmly but with a playful sparkle in his eyes.

"Vaise bhi, bhaisahab, Isha, Rudraksha ke rishte ke baare mein toh humne pehle bhi socha hi tha," he added, looking at Krish with a grin.

"Haan, vo toh hai. Hum humesha se chahte the," Krish said, happiness radiating from his face.

Excitement and chatter filled the house as everyone prepared for the visit. Shrishti's eyes darted around, her heartbeat quickening every time she imagined him walking through the door. Shivanya noticed, smiling knowingly at her friend's little telltale signs.

Isha, sitting quietly with her breakfast, felt a tug of confusion—career, marriage, and personal choices all colliding at once. She forced herself to smile, but deep down, uncertainty lingered.

Everyonearound the dining table, laughter and conversation flowing freely. The anticipation of Mahashivratri and the special guests added a spark to every moment, while Shrishti's excitement and Isha's conflicted thoughts created an undercurrent of tension and emotion that made the morning feel electric

In Malhotra House

"Hum Banaras jaa rahe hain," Narender announced, a wide grin spreading across his face.

Excitement rushed through the room instantly. Everyone's faces lit up with happiness and chatter filled the air.

"Hum wahan jaa rahe hain toh Mehras se bhi mil lenge na?" Kritika asked eagerly, her eyes sparkling.

"Haan haan, zarur! Kitna time ho gaya unse mile," Karan added, smiling warmly.

Before anyone could interrupt, Narender spoke up firmly,

"Hum log Mehras ke yahi jaa rahe hain… Rudraksha ke rishte ke liye, Isha se."

The announcement landed like a bomb. Everyone froze for a moment, and then excitement bubbled again—but Rudraksha's reaction was the opposite. Shock turned into immediate anger.

"Ye apko hak kisne diya decide karne ka ki main shaadi karungi?" Rudraksha snapped, his voice cold and sharp.

"Baap hu main tumhara," Narender shot back, his own anger rising slightly, his voice steady but firm.

"Mujhe koi shaadi nahi karni. Baat khatm!" Rudraksha said, glaring, and stormed upstairs to his room, slamming the door behind him.

Narender exhaled, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. Then he turned to Ishika, voice slightly harsher this time.

"Jaao jaa kar apne laadle ko samjhao. Aur haan, dhyan se!"

Ishika nodded, a determined expression on her face, and walked briskly toward his room.

Ritvik, leaning slightly on Dhairya's shoulder, whispered with curiosity,

"Ye Mehras kaun hain?"

Dhairya chuckled softly, shrugging.

"Humare family friends… chalo, bataata hu," he said calmly, moving toward his room, Ritvik following, still buzzing with curiosity.
