After finalizing the things he was going to buy from the system shop, these are the things he had finally decided on buying:

First, the Cinderveil Robes—a Tier 2 kimono-type defensive armor.
Just like what the description says, it basically looks like a Japanese kimono with dark golden undertones and designs that replicate crimson flames, which helps him reduce the damage of attacks coming from cultivators up until the Nascent Profound Realm.
Yup, it's definitely something I needed to buy for my self-defense—totally not because it looks badass or anything.
The second is the Thousand Faces of Shame Mask.
It's a plain white mask with crimson outlines that spiral outward, much like a hypnotist mask, and it's the most expensive thing he bought from the shop.
The effect of this thing is simple: if he wears this mask, he can disguise himself to anyone, making sure that they don't find out his true identity.
It's a really helpful scum item; the problem is that, just like the other scum items, it doesn't really have a tier, so I don't know what level of cultivation is required to break the effect of the item. So, I'll have to be careful when facing higher-level cultivators.

Immediately, a large volume of spiritual energy suddenly rushed forth from his throat throughout the rest of his body like a rampaging bull; it spread through his meridians as he forced himself to use the Nine Sun Immortal Codex, slowly transforming the rampant spiritual energy into "Sunfyre Qi."
After around an three hours of cultivation, he felt like a dam had broken inside of his body as the newly acquired Sunfyre Qi ran freely throughout his body like living golden flames.
The 5th Level of the Elementary Profound Realm!
Huang Shi's eyes shone with a powerful light as he quickly calculated how much Qi Nurturing pills he would need to reach the peak of the Elementary Profound Realm.
He mentally weighed the remaining pills he had against the mounting requirements of his cultivation base.
"From what I know of how spirit pills like these work is that the more of a single type you consume, the less effective they become.
My body will naturally build a tolerance to the medicine.
And also, because more spiritual energy is required every time I breakthrough, the effects are gonna reduce even more.

Pure golden flames surrounded his body, giving him an intimidating and powerful appearance as spiritual energy pressure enveloped the surroundings, making it feel suffocating.
In fact, if anyone would see him right now, they would never even imagine that this Huang Shi was the same scoundrel from the past who just spent all of his money on whores from the brothels as he finally had the appearance of a proper cultivator.
Finally, he opened his eyes that once again shone with a powerful golden hue as he clenched his fist with a smile.
