The vampires sprawled across the marble floor could barely breathe.
Their bodies were pinned down as though an invisible mountain had descended upon them.
Veins bulged along their temples. Their fingers clawed against the smooth stone, nails scraping uselessly as they tried to push themselves up.
"What is this… what is happening?"
"My body… I can't move…"
"Why can't I stand?"
One of the younger vampires coughed, his cheek pressed hard against the floor. "This is Blood Pressure, right? It has to be Blood Pressure!"
"But that's impossible!" another shouted, his voice trembling. "We are in the Blood Condensation Realm. Lady Cornelia is only in Blood Infusion Realm, eleventh stage. Even if her bloodline is strong, her realm is lower. How are we being suppressed like this?"
"That kind of pressure should not affect us!"
"I can't even lift my head!"
"It feels like my bones are being crushed!"
