"Hey, you kid over there!"
Kakashi, wearing an Anbu mask, appeared around the corner in front of Naruto and spoke in a lazy tone. "This isn't a place for little guys like you. How did you get in?"
"Um…"
Naruto didn't answer Kakashi's question. Instead, he gave him an innocent smile and asked, "I'm here to get something from Hokage-sama, but I can't find his office. Do you know where the Hokage Office is?"
"…"
Kakashi was momentarily speechless. Does he really think I don't know why he's here? Asking me where the Hokage Office is—he's not even pretending anymore, is he?
"You don't know either?"
Seeing Kakashi remain silent, Naruto's face showed a hint of disappointment. "Then I'll just look for it myself."
"Sigh…"
Kakashi stared at Naruto for a moment. Seeing that he didn't seem to be acting, he sighed softly and muttered, "Sorry, Hokage-sama. I really am not suited to playing along with kids."
With that, he walked directly toward Naruto, ready to end this farce.

Kakashi's figure flickered as he appeared beside Naruto. He placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder and said, "Kid, this isn't a place for you to wander around. I'll take you home."
"Sorry."
Naruto looked up, grinned, and said, "I haven't found what I'm looking for yet, so I can't leave with you."
As he spoke, he suddenly leapt up and punched Kakashi in the chin.
Bang!
Kakashi's body turned into a log with a puff of smoke.
Immediately afterward, a voice sounded behind Naruto, and a hand once again landed on his shoulder. "I knew you weren't simple, kid. Luckily, I held back, or I would've been in big trouble."
"Hehe!"
Naruto's laughter suddenly came from behind Kakashi. The eyes beneath Kakashi's mask narrowed sharply.
The "Naruto" he was holding turned into a log with a bang, and at the same time, a sharp whooshing sound came from behind him.
"Oh no!"
Kakashi's expression changed. He quickly formed hand seals and slammed his hands against the nearby wall.
"Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall!"
Rumble!
Chakra surged as the wall restructured itself into a thick stone barrier, a dog's head imprint forming on its surface.
Bang!
The stone wall was kicked apart, but Kakashi had already vanished.
Naruto landed lightly and slightly lowered his stance, as if drawing a sword. His eyes scanned his surroundings vigilantly, searching for Kakashi.
"I'm here."
Kakashi's voice, accompanied by a rumble of thunder, came from above.
Naruto looked up to see lightning flickering in Kakashi's hand, forming a lightning wolf that lunged straight at him.
Hoo!
Naruto took a deep breath and assumed a sword-holding stance. He swung his arms, unleashing four claw-shaped wind blades.

Boom!
The wind blades collided with the lightning wolf, erupting in a violent explosion before both dissipated.
"What kind of Ninjutsu is this?" Kakashi asked in surprise.
He considered himself well-informed, yet he had never seen Wind Release like this—no hand seals, and no noticeable chakra flow.
"Hehe!"
Naruto smirked but didn't answer. Instead, he raised his stance again and swung once more.
No-Sword Style: Seventh Form — Gale, Sudden Gusts!
A tornado-shaped spiral wind blade roared forward—but its target wasn't Kakashi, who was hanging upside down from the ceiling. It was aimed elsewhere.
"Oh no!"
Kakashi's expression changed. The figure on the ceiling dispersed into smoke.
In the next instant, the spiral wind blade tore through the floor. A disheveled figure burst out from beneath the ground—Kakashi's true body, which had been lying in wait. The one on the ceiling had only been a clone.
"Cough—cough!"
Kakashi's Anbu mask shattered. He waved away the dust and stared at Naruto in shock.
"How did you see through my Lightning Clone and locate my real body? And what exactly was that Wind Release you used?"
Naruto only grinned again. "Do you want to continue?"
Of course, he wouldn't tell Kakashi that what he used wasn't Ninjutsu at all, but swordsmanship. As for how he saw through the clone—under Observation Haki and the Transparent World, hiding was meaningless.
More importantly, Naruto had already guessed this Anbu was part of the Toad Sage's test. Otherwise, he wouldn't have held back this much.
"No need."
Kakashi waved his hand helplessly. "Your performance far exceeded my expectations. You can do whatever you want now."
If he didn't get serious, Kakashi wasn't confident he could stop Naruto at all. And he had the distinct feeling that Naruto still hadn't shown his full strength.
"Well then… goodbye."
Kakashi gave a brief instruction, slipped his hands into his pockets, and turned to leave.
"Wait!"
Naruto called out. "I still don't know your name—and you haven't told me where the Hokage Office is!"
Kakashi paused slightly, then spoke without turning back. "Top floor, innermost room. As for my name… we'll talk about it next time."
"Alright! My name is Uzumaki Naruto—thank you!"
Naruto shouted toward Kakashi's retreating back before bolting toward the top floor.
Kakashi listened to the voice behind him, and the corners of his mouth curved slightly beneath his mask.
"…This kid really is the teacher's child."
