As far as Yuri could attentively deduce from a distance, the girl was shy, timid, and less flashy than many women who made sheep's eyes at Ilya, definitely not a seductress. It's like her presence was small and she was strangely forgettable, even though her profile had pretty features.
Deducing a hypothesis, Yuri spoke after a while. "Call me crazy, but could that girl be his mate?"
"You are crazy.", Dima replied right away. "You know that's impossible. Ilya hates everything related to mates. Besides, shouldn't mates be attracted to one another, just like fire and heat? I don't think the girl is roused by our boss, like that."
Dima's mind was unable to accept that Ilya could find his mate, but he also didn't have an alternate explanation for Ilya's bizarre behavior.
Dima waved at Yuri, hinting him to drop the topic. "Let's focus on what's important," he reminded Yuri. "We have a lot of cleaning to do tonight. We are leaving tomorrow morning."
