Chapter 3 - The person I hate most in this world.

The enraged Claimoor launched an attack with its tentacles, the same attack that destroyed my apartment.

Eleanor dodged it and almost simultaneously launched her fire spears.

Seeing that Eleanor easily dodged its attacks, the Claimoor lunged directly at her, trying to impale her with its tentacles.

She created an ice shield on her left arm, and in her right hand, she held her fire spear; another of the family relics.

She stood in front of a Claimoor, a monster like the one that had ended her parents' lives in the past.

I could barely recognize her. She was wearing an ancient combat suit; she looked like a warrior goddess.

Despite it being a battle to the death, she smiled, and her movements were so coordinated and perfect that it looked more like she was dancing.

When my mind stabilized again, I saw the bracelet lying about five meters from where I was.

As best I could, I crawled, picked it up, and placed it on my right wrist. At that moment, I felt like my body wanted to explode; my blood rushed, I felt my heart beating at a frantic pace, and for a couple of seconds, my vision went dark.

It was the first time I had felt that power, an ancestral power that was granted to the first members of the ÓBroin family.

Who are one of the first families descended from the Supreme Beings!

When I was able to fully assimilate the power of the relic, I immediately turned to look for Eleanor.

She was about twenty meters away. I shouted at her with all my might to get away.

Hearing me, she combined her fire and ice powers, creating an explosion that pushed the Claimoor back and left it lying on the ground.

At that very moment, I put my hands together and pointed directly at where it was, and with all my strength, I launched a beam of ice. The Claimoor tried to stop the lightning with its tentacles, but the attack was so powerful that it was impossible.

The impact created a curtain of gas that looked like smoke. When the gas dissipated, it could be seen that the Claimoor was completely frozen.

Eleanor, who had moved about ten meters away, approached and shouted with all her might:

"Disappear, you cursed monster!"

Striking it and causing it to shatter into hundreds of pieces!

And there we were.

I, Noah O'Broin, and Eleanor Sevianko.

The person who, for many years, tormented me.

She is the being I hate most in this world.
