Chapter 110 - Chapter 110: Helen Prepares

[3rd POV]

While Haley and Billie were waiting in the office, staying out of the way while Helen was doing her job, the principal in question was currently running around the school, knowing that she had a very limited amount of time, and had a good bit to do before then.

The first thing she did was go and speak to the head of the security for the school. The school was a high end one, and had quite a few very wealthy students, or at least, students with very wealthy parents. So, having security was natural.

Walking through the halls of her school, Helen eventually made her way into the security's office. The office itself was a pretty simple one, with nothing more than a screen that showed the feeds from each of the security cameras around the school, an emergency button that would sound alarms in case of an emergency, and the head of security.

"Oh, hey Helen, what can I do for you?" The man asked, noticing her walking up. She rarely ever visited the security's office, so if she was there, then it meant that she needed him for something.

He just wondered what that something was.

"I actually have a few things I need, Steve" Helen replied, as the man stared and motioned for her to continue.

"First, we might be getting some...visitors on the next few hours, at least, there's a chance of it. We have a...guest here, one that is very very famous, and if one of our students decides to leak information about her being here, then there is a very good chance we'll have paparazzi outside the school" Helen explained, making the man look at her in slight surprise.

"Paparazzi? Is this Hemsworth level or no? That was a bit of a struggle, just because we weren't actually prepared" Steve asked.

"Worse. The celebrity that's here is a lot more famous than him, and in the area that she is famous for, she is probably the most popular on the planet" Helen replied without hesitation, knowing that her head of security would need to know all of this to ensure that he had a good idea about the sheer amount of security they would need.

"That...well, that might cause some problems ma'am. If the woman in question is really that famous, then I honestly doubt there is anything we can do about the paparazzi, besides threatening to call the police should they try to enter the school" Steve said, before continuing.

"Of course, they should know that entering the school through force like that is very illegal, and is trespassing. So that should at least ward off some of them. But...knowing how paparazzi can get, I'm sure that there will be at least a few of them that decide they are above the law" Steve continued, as Helen sighed.

"And what are we going to do in case they actually do decide that they are above the law? I don't want any of my students or employees harmed because some moron decides that getting a picture of the guest celebrity is more important than the safety of others" Helen replied, already realizing that this might be a bit more irritating than she was initially expecting.

She really really hoped that this didn't become a serious issue, because if it did, it could potentially cause some serious problems for the school. Not just in terms of safety for the students and staff, but also because it could mean lawsuits and the like.

"We'll just have to hope that they don't do that. And you said this was the first thing, right? What's next?"

"Well, secondly we're going to need at least one or two of you to come to the theater eventually, as the guest is going to be doing a performance there, and I don't want any of the kids to get any funny ideas. I doubt anything too crazy would happen, but I don't know. There are some kids that might get a little..excited, and try to do something really stupid" Helen explained, as the man nodded.

That should be fine. As long as we keep it to one or two I can't see it ending badly. Plus the teachers will be there, right? I doubt security will be needed for it if they are" Steve replied. Helen contemplated his words.

"Just one should be fine then, I can't see it going that badly"

"Oh, and the paparazzi thing shouldn't happen, hopefully at least. I am going to inform the students not to post anything on this until after school. Mostly so that the celebrity in question will actually be interested in returning in the future. They'd be ruining their own chances should they leak the news and make things difficult for her" Helen added, knowing that there shouldn't be anything bad happening, but who knows when it comes to teenagers.

They could be a major pain in the ass.

Especially teenagers at a school like hers, where pretty much all of them were rambunctious and over the top at times. They were all theater kids, actors, etc.

And those tended to be the most...interesting types of people. So, they had to be careful. A lot of them didn't understand the term "Personal boundaries" and a lot of them were HUGE fans of Billie Eilish.

She knew that, because quite a few of her students had posters of her in their lockers. It was a little weird, but she imagined it was because she was so famous, and not that much older than them.

The main one that she had to keep an eye on was...Jade.

That girl was scary at times.

"Great. I'll get on it right now, ma'am" Steve replied, as he got to his feet, ready to get to work. He was really curious about who the celebrity was, but decided against asking. Plus, he was sure that he would find out eventually either way. No point causing problems by asking.

Watching the man walk off, Helen let out a breath.

"Well, that's done. Now it's time to try to get the theater ready" Helen muttered to herself, knowing that that had been the easy part. The hard part was coming up soon. And that would be trying to get the theater prepared, without someone asking questions about what the hell she was doing.

Because it wasn't exactly quiet, getting the theater prepped for that sort of thing.

Thankfully the little mini-concert wasn't like something super big or fancy, it was going to be like one or two songs, and that was about it. Nothing more nothing less.

'Hmm, probably should also ask HD if she is going to perform or not' Helen thought, as she made her way towards the place where Billie would perform.

With that, she headed towards the theater, hoping and praying that this went well.

Because she had no idea what would happen if it didn't.
