Chapter 23 - The world.

Mr. Tasha woke up early, took a cold shower, then headed to the kitchen.

A light cup of coffee and a classic breakfast.

After finishing his meal, Mr. Tasha went to his room to check his luggage.

His flight was scheduled for two thirty in the afternoon.

He would travel from his current city, Monopoli, to Bari Airport, which was only about fifty kilometers away.

After making sure everything was ready and all his documents were in order, Mr. Tasha stepped out onto the balcony, sat on a chair, and sipped his coffee.

He opened his laptop and searched for the website of one of the major companies specializing in skydiving. He registered and designed a training schedule for solo jumps, Mr. Tasha wanted an intensive course that would allow him to experience solo jumping within five days at most.

He requested a private instructor to speed up the learning process. Mr. Tasha was fortunate, because at the beginning of May demand usually increased, making it harder to secure an aircraft and an instructor.

Even though he had booked only a day in advance, his appointment was set for the following day.

He paid all the fees, then began searching for natural landscapes in the city of Interlaken, that would be his destination.

Mr. Tasha wanted the best possible experience.

He would purchase the equipment there, submit a medical record proving he was physically fit and free of any health issues, and buy accident insurance on site.

There was one thing he would have to do on the first day of training, jump to confront fear. Mr. Tasha had never jumped before, so this step was necessary.

But was Mr. Tasha afraid? No.

Simply put, he did not occupy himself with that thought at all.

Life and death were one and the same to him, so there was no need for fear. Such a reaction would not bring any good results, it would only hinder a person's progress forward.

People usually hesitated because of fear and worried because of it, they lacked courage within themselves.

Confrontation and challenge created opportunities to be seized, but those who were afraid lost the opportunity, whether in life in general or in the pursuit of wealth. It was all the same path, with no real difference.

Mr. Tasha continued researching his route after landing in Zurich, he would head to Interlaken by train.

He discovered that this journey offered a unique visual experience. After all, Switzerland was a breathtaking tourist destination.

He thought about it for a moment, then took another sip of his coffee, his mind now wandered toward the world as a whole.

The journey would take time, and the place was vast and unfamiliar to him. It was a new experience, one that would stir different emotions.

That was how the world was, it always amazed you.

The world was wide and immense, and this thought made Mr. Tasha feel small. He had always been humble, but thinking about the world made him see himself as nothing, a human was nothing unless they gave something and produced something.

What was life, if not a unique experience within the world and a lasting mark upon it?

Mr. Tasha gazed toward the horizon.

The sky was vast, overlooking this wide world in silence, indifferent to the world and to the people within it.

What were humans amid all this? Perhaps many never asked themselves because of habit, but the world was mysterious.

Mr. Tasha contemplated a little longer, then took a light nap.

As the departure time approached, Mr. Tasha woke up two hours before his flight.

He took a private taxi, the trip would take about an hour.

Upon arriving at the airport, Mr. Tasha looked at the crowds of people. It was impressive how many people were traveling, some for work, others simply to travel.

He proceeded to present his passport and check in for his first class flight to the aircraft.

Everything went smoothly, and soon Mr. Tasha found himself heading toward the plane.
