Berryanna sat down in the sitting room of the Lord of Faith, waiting for the so-called Queen of Hale she was forced to visit. Beside her was Greyhouse Sr., standing majestically with his hands behind his back. The room was quiet enough to hear fabric shift when someone moved. Berryanna crossed one leg over the other and rested her fingers on the armrest. She did not fidget.
"You said you wanted to live peacefully and die peacefully. What are you doing?" Berryanna asked. She decided to use the opportunity to talk while waiting for the Queen of Hale. Her voice was steady, not loud, not soft.
