Chapter 41 - Miredal Thana

Bradley's eyes opened because of the sudden advancement of things. He grew weak and weak as time went on. He had been watching vampire movies like the Twilight, and Vampire Diaries and he also thought they were just fictional movies and Vampires were not real.

Never for once in his wildest dreams did he ever dreamt of of meeting a real Vampire and on top of that, being drained of blood by the Vampire lady.

The girl clung to him tightly like a koala as she desperately drank his blood.

Her body kept trembling violently.

It looked as if she had been starving for centuries.

The sound of swallowing echoed softly in the hall of the crystal house.

Bradley tried many times to pull away from her, but her grip was unbelievably strong.

His dragon blood flowed into her body.

The moment the blood entered her veins her body froze.

Her crimson eyes widened in shock.

A terrifying energy surge of blood erupted around her.

Ancient runes appeared in the air between them.

The Primordial Oracle Dragon System suddenly rang loudly.

[WARNING!]

[Bond Formation Initiated]

Bradley frowned.

"What the..."

Before he could finish speaking, a glowing red symbol appeared on both of their bodies.

The vampire girl slowly released his neck. Blood remained on her lips.

She stared at him in confusion.

"…You…"

Her voice was weak.

"…who are you?"

Bradley blinked.

"You bit me and you're asking me that?"

He asked with a furious tone that was filled with agony.

The girl held her head suddenly.

Pain flashed across her face.

"Memories…"

"...I can't remember…" She said with a confused expression.

Fragments of images flashed through her mind.

A man, voice teaching her.

A name.

"Master… Tristan…"

Bradley's eyes widened slightly.

"Tristan?"

The girl looked at her own hands, trembling.

"…Who am I?"

The system answered before Bradley could.

[Ding!]

[Lifeform Identified]

[Name: Miredal Thana

Race: Imperial Blood Vampire

Status: Memory Sealed

Special Event Triggered

Eternal Blood Bond Formed]

"Eternal what?

What do you mean with this Eternal Blood Bond?" He blinked.

The system continued.

[Due to consuming the host's Primordial Dragon Blood while in a weakened state, the target has formed a permanent soul-blood contract with the host.]

[Result: Target cannot betray host for eternity.]

Bradley slowly looked back at the girl.

Miredal too stared at him with her confused red eyes.

Her cheeks were slightly flushed from drinking his blood.

"I feel…" She touched her chest.

"…connected to you." She said to him.

"Hmm! Yeah. I got that part." He sighed and said.

Miredal suddenly moved closer to him.

Her expression was innocent but strangely possessive.

"Your blood…"Her voice softened.

"…it feels warm."

Bradley stepped back slightly.

"Don't get any ideas." He warned her.

She tilted her head like a confused cat.

"…But I'm hungry."

Bradley rubbed his forehead.

"You've been sucking my priceless abd precious dragon blood for the past two minutes and you are telling me that you are hungry again?"

Then the system spoke again.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations Host.

You have awakened Tristan's sealed disciple.]

"Why didn't he tell me that she was a hungry vampire?" He really wished that Tristan was in front of him now. He would use every bit of strength left in him to attack him to vent his anger.

Miredal blinked.

"…Who?" She asked innocently.

They both looked at each other.

Silence filled the chamber.

Finally Bradley sighed again.

"…This is going to be complicated."

Miredal quietly grabbed the sleeve of his coat.

"…Can I stay with you?"

Bradley stared at her. Her silver hair flowed behind her like moonlight and her pale skin seemed almost luminous beneath the dark hall of crystal house, and her deep red eyes shone with a strange, dangerous beauty.

The vampire princess who once was the disciple of Tristan but was now permanently bound to him.

Bradley looked toward the open Void Coffin.

Then back at her.

"Yeah." He shrugged.

"I guess you don't have anywhere else to go." He helplessly said.

Miredal smiled faintly.

'For some reason, standing next to him felt… safe.' That was what she thought as she looked at Bradley's handsome face.

Bradley helped her from the coffin but her limbs were weak so she couldn't walked. Bradley had no option but to carry her in his arms.

He continued to stare at her pale celestial face with a lost eyes. It was today that he realized that the saying that elves and vampires are the most beautiful creatures ever was indeed true.

"Why are you staring at me like that?

Is something on my face?"

She was confused why Bradley was staring at him like that.

"Nothing. I was just admiring your beautiful face." He honestly said to her.

"Really? I don't remember how a look like but I don't think that I'm that kinda beautiful as you say." She said to him.

"If you are not beautiful, then none of the divas out there would dare to say that they are beautiful."

"What's your name?" She asked him.

"I'm Bradley Wright Lane."

"Wow. That's a nice name you've got. I wished I had such a nice name like you. I can't remember my name."

She sadly said.

"Miredal Thana. That is your name. Your unique name."

"Miredal Thana?

I love it!" The name felt so natural for her.

"But how did you know that that is my name." She asked.

"You don't need to know about how I got to know your name. What is more important right now is for you to walk proper." He said to her.

"I need more blood if I want to recover fast. A large amount of blood is what would help me gain more strength."

"So how much would you need to be able to walk?

You will get a lot blood you need when we go out of this realm."

He turned the side of his neck to Miredal signaling her to continue what she didn't finish earlier.

Due to the abundant Draconic Qi in the Ethereal Dragon Domain, he had recovered his lost blood.

Miredal looked at Bradley with a lot of affections writing on her face.

She opened her mouth and her sharp fangs emerged as it entered the flesh around Bradley's neck.

It wasn't like the first time. The was no pain this time. Pleasure. Yes that was what Bradley was feeling now.

It was as if he was being tickled around his neck.
