Thessian's eyes widened. "That's impossible. Pack bonds are Alpha territory. Mates feel their Alpha's bond, but they don't sense the pack directly—"
"Well I'm sensing them now," Liora interrupted. "I can feel Marcus and Devon miles away. I can feel the pack house, all those wolves who think I'm a murderer. I can feel their emotions through the bonds, their locations, their—" She gasped, her eyes snapping open. "Thessian, I can feel the traitors. The ones working against you. They feel... different. Discordant. Like notes out of tune in a symphony."
He stared at her. "You can identify traitors through the pack bonds?"
"I think so." She focused again, her hand beginning to glow brighter. "There's three of them in the pack house right now. Betas. One in intelligence—not Daemon, someone else. One in security. One in the Alpha's personal guard—" She stopped, her face going pale. "One is right outside your quarters. Watching. Reporting to someone."
