Chapter 4 - Chapter 1. Unseen Kingdoms

Riya's world was built on control—not just as a word, but as an obsession she wore like an invisible crown. By day, she ruled boardrooms; by night, she owned those dark corners of the city where people survived under the shadow of fear instead of streetlights. For her, power was simple: either you hold the leash, or you become the one dragged across the floor.

Arjun's world was different. He believed in clean contracts, straight numbers, and rules that actually meant something, even in a corrupt system that laughed at the idea of honesty.Uske liye loyalty koi game nahi thi; once he gave his word, breaking it felt worse than losing money. People called him stubborn, but in a world full of masks, his stubborn integrity was the only shield he trusted.

The first time Riya heard his name, it wasn't in a fancy conference room. It came as a warning in a smoky underground bar, where deals were whispered over burnt whiskey and bloody knuckles."Arjun Singh… careful with that one," someone had said. "Woh banda bikta nahi. Threaten karo, buy karo, ya break karo—he still won't bend." That made her smile. A man who wouldn't bend was either a problem… or the perfect challenge.

When Arjun saw her file for the first time, it came with red flags instead of a normal introduction. "Too powerful, too connected, too dangerous to cross," the note said, almost like a warning label on a bomb.Usne file close kar diya, but his mind didn't. "Power like that doesn't exist without a price," he thought. "And people who play in the dark always leave blood somewhere." He didn't know yet if that blood would be his.

Their worlds collided in a glass tower that kissed the clouds, during a meeting that was supposed to be "strictly business." Riya walked into the boardroom like she owned the building, heels clicking slow, unhurried rhythm, eyes scanning every face and dismissing them in a second—until they stopped on Arjun. For the first time in a long time, she didn't see fear or greed staring back at her. She saw resistance.

"Mr. Singh ," she said, voice calm, almost soft. "I've heard you don't scare easily."

He held her gaze, jaw tight but posture relaxed. "Depends," he replied. "Kis cheez se darna hai mujhe?" His tone was polite, but there was a challenge hidden under the surface, like a blade wrapped in silk.

In that single moment, the deal on the table became secondary. It wasn't just about numbers anymore; it was about who would take control and who would be forced to surrender it, piece by piece.Riya felt an unfamiliar spark—interest, irritation, and something dangerously close to excitement. Arjun, on the other hand, felt a shift he didn't like at all. This woman is trouble, he thought, but walking away from this deal might be the bigger mistake.

Their first meeting ended with signatures on paper and an unspoken war etched between their eyes. Dono ne handshake kiya, lekin grip mein ek silent message tha—I don't bow first.

End Questions:

- Kya Arjun Riya ke dominance ko samajh kar usse khud ko bachayega?

- Dono ki alag duniya ka rishta kaise develop hoga?

- Kya yeh sirf business ki mulaqat hai, ya kuch gehra hone wala hai?
