It looked like Lauren, but he had blue hair instead of pink. He wore a blue coat, black pants, and elegant shoes. The only things that were the same were his golden eyes, his face, and his long hair.
He descended to the ground and said calmly,"You guys are really weak."
A strange mist passed over him.
When it faded, Lauren was lying on the ground, unconscious.
"What happened?" the teacher wondered, shocked."Who was that? He looked like Lauren… but it wasn't him."
Beatrice ran toward Lauren.
"Lauren! Are you okay?"
"Bi… a…" he tried to answer weakly.
"Oh, Lauren, you're okay!" she said with relief."Now… where are Felix, Janio, and Kaiya? Let's find them."
Beatrice lifted Lauren onto her back.
As she carried him, Lauren slowly looked around.
Everything was destroyed.
The school lay in ruins.
That made it even worse.
Teachers stood near the school gate, lamenting.
"And now, what will become of me?""How am I going to feed my family? This was my only way to survive!""My life is ruined!"
An ambulance arrived, sirens echoing. Doctors rushed toward the school with a stretcher.
"What's happening?" Beatrice wondered.
She approached the medics and saw Professor Zarkos lying on the ground.
"He lost a lot of blood! Take him to the hospital immediately!"
"How awful… I hope the others are alright," Beatrice whispered.
Suddenly, a cry for help echoed.
"Who's there?" Beatrice asked.
Then she saw someone pinned beneath a large rock.
"FELIX?!"
"Help me!"
Beatrice rushed to him and removed the rocks piled on top of his body.
Lauren saw Felix's broken arms.
Panic surged through him.
It's all my fault…Everyone is suffering because of me.If I knew how to control my power, none of this would have happened.It's all my fault… all my fault…
Tears streamed down his face.
Felix noticed.
"It's not your fault, Lauren," he said weakly."I'll call an ambulance. Stay here, Lauren."
"THAT'S RIGHT. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"
Lauren froze.
"Who said that?" he asked.
"ME."
Lauren slowly raised his head.
He was staring at himself.
"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"
Lauren's eyes began to turn purple.
"Lauren… are you okay?" Felix asked nervously."Your eyes just turned white out of nowhere."
Lauren's body slowly began to float.
His hair turned white as well.
"Lauren… what's happening?" Felix asked again.
Ash'vour slipped from Lauren's hand and fell to the ground.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"
