The city was humning with a strange energy tonight. People walked by, lost in their own worlds, unaware that the air around them was shimmering with hidden magic. I looked at the old watch in my hand; the hands weren't moving, yet I could feel time slipping away. "A World of Dreams," I whispered to myself. Suddenly, the alleyway ahead began to glow with a soft, silver light. I had a choice: stay in the world I knew, or step into the one I had always imagined. I took a deep breath and stepped forward.
