Chapter 43 - The Grand Inauguration and the Hierarchy of Dragons

Twin Peaks Valley. Two weeks later.

If one looked down from the sky, the landscape of the Southern Region had changed forever. The roads leading to Twin Peaks Valley were choked with traffic. Thousands of flying swords, spirit beast carriages, and foot convoys streamed toward the valley like rivers flowing into the sea.

The Heavenly Sword Sect had abandoned their mountain. The Violet Mist Pavilion had emptied their swamps. The Ye Clan (and every other minor family) had liquidated their estates.

They were not refugees. They were the founding members of the new Empire.

At the entrance of the valley, the Star-Steel Wall was already rising. Under Su Ling's architectural algorithms and Ye Kai's brute strength, the wreckage of the Central Continent ship had been smelted down and reforged into a massive, silver defensive line that enclosed the entire valley.

At the massive Jade Gates, a checkpoint was established. Su Ling sat on a floating platform, surrounded by hundreds of holographic screens. Every disciple entering the sect had to pass through a Spirit Scan Array.

"Name?" Su Ling asked, her eyes scanning data streams.

"Li Hu. Former Inner Disciple of Heavenly Sword Sect," a young man said nervously.

BEEP. [Potential: C-Rank.] [Attribute: Fire/Metal.] [Best Fit: Blacksmith Hall.]

"You are assigned to the Blacksmith Hall," Su Ling announced. "Rank: Inner Disciple. Proceed to the left."

"Next."

"Zhang Wei. Former Elder of Violet Mist Pavilion."

BEEP. [Potential: B-Rank.] [History: Embezzled funds in 2023.]

"You are assigned to the Logistics Hall," Su Ling narrowed her eyes. "Rank: Outer Disciple."

"What?!" The Elder was outraged. "I was an Elder! How can I be an Outer Disciple?"

Wei Wu stepped out of the shadows, his thumb resting on his sword hilt. The air temperature dropped. "Objections?" Wei Wu whispered.

"No... no objections!" The Elder scrambled away toward the Outer Court.

The efficiency was ruthless. In the old sects, status was determined by age and connections. In the Divine Dragon Sect, status was determined by Data and Utility.

Inside the Divine Dragon Realm, the tens of thousands of new disciples gathered in the vast central plaza beneath the Floating Island. They looked around in awe. The Qi density here was ten times higher than the outside world. Spirit herbs grew like weeds. This wasn't a sect; it was a paradise.

Huge banners of light hung in the sky, displaying the New Sect Laws.

[The Hierarchy of the Dragon]

Outer Disciples: (The Foundation). Laborers, new recruits, and those with low contribution. They live in the Lower Valley.

Inner Disciples: (The Backbone). Proven cultivators. Access to Tier 3 Scriptures. They live in the Mid-Mountain.

Core Disciples: (The Elites). The geniuses. Access to the Sovereign's Library. They live on the Floating Island Lower Ring.

Hall Masters: (Former Sect Leaders). Managers of specific divisions (Sword, Alchemy, Finance, Penal).

The Holy Sons/Daughters: (The Legends).

Ye Kai (Titan Son)

Su Ling (Cyber Daughter)

Wei Wu (Void Son)

Status: Only answering to the Sect Master. Their word is Law.

The crowd murmured. The structure was clear. It was a meritocracy backed by absolute power.

The Grand Ceremony

GONG. GONG. GONG.

Three massive bell tolls echoed through the dimension, silencing the crowd of 50,000 cultivators.

The sky above the Floating Island turned golden. Clouds swirled to form a massive staircase leading up to the Celestial Jade Palace.

Old Sky (The Butler) appeared at the top of the stairs. He wore formal grey robes, radiating the terrifying pressure of a Dao Sovereign. Even though he was a servant, to the disciples below, he was a God.

"Kneel," Old Sky's voice rolled like thunder.

THUD. 50,000 people—former Sect Leaders, arrogant geniuses, old elders—dropped to their knees. The sound of their knees hitting the stone floor was deafening.

"Welcome to the New Era," Old Sky announced. "Behold. The Founder. The Lord of the Realm. The Patriarch of the Divine Dragon."

Jiang Chen walked out of the palace. He wore the [Robes of the World Ruler] (a System item). They were pure white, embroidered with nine golden dragons that seemed to move and breathe on the fabric. He wore a simple jade crown. He held no weapon. He released no aura. But as he walked down the golden stairs, the Heart of the World pulsed in his chest.

Every beat of his heart resonated with the heartbeat of every disciple. Thump. Thump. They felt an instinctive urge to worship. This wasn't just a leader; this was the Owner of the reality they stood in.

Jiang Chen sat on the Dragon Throne placed at the edge of the balcony, overlooking his new empire. To his left stood Old Sky. To his right stood the Three Holy Disciples (Ye Kai, Su Ling, Wei Wu).

Below him were the Hall Masters (Sect Leader Jian, Grandma Venom, Ye Tian - who was wheeled out on a chair).

The Speech

Jiang Chen looked down at the sea of heads. He didn't smile. He didn't look kind. He looked like a King.

"Stand," Jiang Chen said softly. His voice was amplified by the realm itself, whispering directly into everyone's ear.

The crowd stood up, trembling with excitement and fear.

"You are here because the world is cruel," Jiang Chen began. "In the past, you fought each other for scraps. You killed for a mine. You betrayed for a pill." "That ends today."

He waved his hand. RUMBLE. From the warehouse, thousands of streaks of light shot into the sky. Swords. Pills. Manuals. Spirit Stones. They rained down, floating above the heads of the disciples.

"I am rich," Jiang Chen stated simply. "I do not need your taxes. I do not need your pathetic offerings." "I have more resources than the rest of this continent combined."

The disciples' eyes bulged. Floating above them were Earth Grade weapons—treasures they would have killed for yesterday. Now, they were being handed out like candy.

"In the Divine Dragon Sect, we do not fight for survival," Jiang Chen declared. "We fight for Domination."

"In six months, the barrier to the Central Continent will break. They are coming to enslave you. They are coming to take this land."

Jiang Chen leaned forward, his eyes burning with cold fire. "But they are wrong." "This is not their land to take. It is My land." "And you are My people."

"I will arm you. I will train you. I will make you monsters." "And when the invaders arrive..." "We will not hide behind walls." "We will take their ships. We will take their stones. We will take their world."

He raised his hand. "Who is with me?"

For a second, there was silence. Then, Ye Kai roared, raising his fist. "FOR THE PATRIARCH!"

The dam broke. "FOR THE PATRIARCH!" "LONG LIVE JIANG CHEN!" "LONG LIVE THE DIVINE DRAGON SECT!"

50,000 voices screamed in unison. The sound shook the floating island. The morale was explosive. They had never seen a leader who gave resources instead of taking them. They had never seen a leader so confident in the face of an apocalypse.

Old Sky stepped forward holding a golden seal. The [Sect Master's Seal]. He knelt and presented it to Jiang Chen.

"Master," Old Sky said, loud enough for all to hear. "Please accept the seal."

Jiang Chen took the seal. DING.

[System Alert: Sect Established.] [Name: Divine Dragon Sect.] [Tier: 5 (Rising).] [Disciples: 52,400.] [Loyalty: Fanatic.]

[Congratulations Host!] [Reward: The Sect System Module unlocked.] [Reward: Sect Guardian Beast Egg (God Tier).] [Reward: 10,000,000 Sect Points.]

Jiang Chen smiled. He held the seal high.

"I accept."

Blue light exploded from the seal, washing over the entire realm. Everyone felt a warm energy enter their bodies—the Sect Blessing, increasing cultivation speed by 20%.

Jiang Chen sat back on his throne. The celebration began. Wine flowed like water. Spirit beasts were roasted. Fireworks made of Sword Qi lit up the sky.

But in the shadows of the throne, Jiang Chen opened his new Sect System menu. He looked at the [Construction] tab.

"Su Ling," Jiang Chen whispered. "Yes, Master?"

"The party is nice. But tomorrow, the work begins." "We have six months to turn this mob into an army." "And I have a Guardian Beast egg to hatch."
