In an unknown era and in a remote universe, there were numerous gods who shared different parts of the cosmos, containing galaxies, planetary systems, and stars.
Each deity had their own task: some created new stars, some aimed to control entire galaxies, and others to bring new worlds to life.
Furthermore, each region had to be managed by four deities, so as to guarantee a stable cosmic balance and avoid imbalances that could cause significant damage.
Ever since this universe was created, the deities tasked with creating new worlds were called 'Architects' by the Moire, the three deities responsible for life, destiny, and death.
The Architects received the filaments of fate as a gift from the Moire: invisible threads that allowed the temporary creation of new worlds, structures, and life forms, so as to build a habitat where they could live peacefully.
After many centuries, in the part of the universe known as 'Etheria', four deities were assigned the task of governing that region.
Each deity manifested their own affinity: Apollo, god of light; Hephaestus, god of fire and forge; Athena, goddess of wisdom; and a mysterious deity of time, still unknown and little noted in mythology books.
The god of light took care of the stars, while the god of fire and the goddess of wisdom dedicated themselves to the formation of galaxies.
The deity of time, however, had been chosen as an architect, so she had to handle the management of the worlds.
Etheria also contained the solar system, well-known among the deities for a peculiar world called 'Earth'.
The Earth was inhabited by living beings known as 'humans'. These life forms were greatly hated by the deities, as they had transformed the planet into a corrupt and evil place, continuously dominated by injustice.
The goal was to create a unique world, where peace and tranquility could reign, and that was free from corruption and darkness.
The deity of time immediately set to work. After mercilessly exterminating all humans, she merged the planets of the solar system into a single world that she called 'Chronoetheria'.
After giving the new world a name, the goddess began to create everything from scratch: new creatures, habitats, cities —including a capital— and a new culture.
But during the process, something unexpected happened.
Human desires were so intense that they crossed the veil of death. They moved from creature to creature, as if they were living entities, corrupting minds and dragging them into the darkness.
No one could escape it, not even the deities: everyone was contaminated by the desires and no one could understand what was happening.
Thus, from a much-desired condition of peace and tranquility, it soon shifted to a hostile and corrupt environment, marked by chaos and terror.
Furthermore, depending on what they contaminated, the desires inexplicably mutated into increasingly abstract forms, turning into uncontrollable feelings, agonizing obsessions, unpredictable delusions, and many other different manifestations that dwelled continuously in the subconscious of every life form.
In a short time, the desires spread throughout the universe, compromising anything they encountered.
In this new corrupt world, where it all began, will there be anyone capable of bringing everything back to normal?
A legendary hero? A champion of justice? Another god?
Or perhaps Dayu, the protagonist of this story, who wakes up without memories and does nothing but ask questions to discover more about his past… will he reveal himself as the hero we were looking for? Or will he be the classic indecisive protagonist who lets himself be guided by events and without ever realizing his own actions?
Well, that too will remain a mystery. But the other characters... will they contribute to helping him? Will they be willing to reconstruct the fragments of Dayu's past and reveal the origins of his birth, his family, and the unknown truth that hides behind the desires mutation? Or will they limit themselves to being satisfied with their role without offering real help?
Thus, while the veil of the story rises and the answers to the questions remain elusive, Dayu begins his journey to discover not only his own destiny, but the meaning of his own existence and of everything that is happening.
If only we could have done something to avoid all this….
But after all this time, after all our mistakes committed, and after an attempt that went up in smoke, the only thing we can do is pray and keep trying together with my sister, given our powerlessness in this corrupt universe.
O Domine,
deliver us from this hell...
and grant us eternal freedom….
