Chapter 63 - Chapter 63

The Wrath of the Ansha

Overcome with rage, XiaoYan felt an unfamiliar power surge within him. A voice, familiar yet divine, seemed to whisper in his mind, urging him forward. The Ansha's presence enveloped him—a green-eyed figure towering behind his form, radiating strength that eclipsed even the battlefield around him.

He launched himself at the evil god with every ounce of power he could muster. The evil god raised a barrier, meeting XiaoYan's strike with a clashing force that sent shockwaves across the river. XiaoYan was thrown back, spitting blood.

"How… how are you this powerful?" he murmured through clenched teeth.

"I am the evil god," came the cold, mocking reply. "Look around you. There is evil in the hearts of everyone—XiaoYan, Nem, even Mi-An. I feed on it. You cannot defeat me. Only the Ansha could. But you killed him. Every death here is your doing, every loss, every scream… all because of your choice."

XiaoYan's eyes glistened with tears, his shoulders trembling.

"XiaoYan, don't listen to him! You can overcome this, uhn… XiaoYan!" Mi-An's voice called to him, a lifeline amidst the chaos.

"XiaoYan, look at her! She is manipulating you! Kill her! Kill all of them! Together, we can rule the world!" the evil god hissed, his words venomous and insidious.

XiaoYan's hands shook. For a moment, he was paralyzed, torn between fury, grief, and the evil whispers threatening to consume him.

"Father… please help me," he whispered, a plea to the one who was gone.

The evil god sneered. "Your father is long gone."

Mi-An suddenly surged forward, wrapping her arms around XiaoYan from behind. His tears fell onto her blood-streaked shoulders.

At that instant, the sky itself split open, a bluish light radiating from XiaoYan's back. The towering figure of the Ansha emerged, eyes glowing green, their presence sending a wave of force across the battlefield. XiaoYan's resolve hardened as he raised his hand.

The evil god tried to flee, but XiaoYan's strike pushed him down, sending him crashing to the ground before vanishing into the shadows. A wave of energy flowed across the Obsidian River, restoring balance.
