By the rooftop of the academy. There, the three of the WEA trio members sat down and took a place for themselves to rest. "…" The silence was hanged to the air, none of them were talking as one of them took a bite of the food that were bought by Izuki earlier.
"So.. what is the plan tonight? Are we going to play video games until 5am again?" Izuki asked calmly yet excited at the thought of playing games all night as usual like she always does with Haruyuki Isami. Their usual night routine, then ended up sleeping in class on the first half-hour of the classtime. "Nope, not this time. Mrs Audry calls us to the teacher practice room at 1am, remember?" Haru explained as he took another bite of the bread in hand. "Eh? But how come I didn't know about it? Mrs Audry didn't even tell me a thing or two." Izuki asked in light confusion as she titled her head confusedly to the side.
"It's because you were sleeping in class when Mrs Audry comes to our class earlier." Yuwi answered. "Oh, sorry."
"What? When? I thought Mrs Audry chatted you on phone?" Haru raised an eyebrow at Yuwi Lily's words. Remembering the only times he knows about those information is when Yuwi talked about those chat of hers with the teacher mentioned.
"You were playing, genius. Congratulations on your carelessness. You didn't even answer when I was calling that time." Yuwi says with a slight irritated smirk at his dumb question. Haru rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, he's not. "Oh, hehe. Sorry!" Yuwi just rolled her eyes at that.
"Hey. Yuwi, Haru." Izuki called.
"Yes?" They both replied in unison.
"Well, since the three of us always hangs out together, what about us becoming a trio?" Izuki asked calmly, though it's kind of a little awkward for her to say this since the whole academy already assume them as a trio from the start and the fact they got the name 'The WEA Trio' because of their quite certain 'reputation' on the academy through the whole year they're staying in. It is also kind of awkward for her since she had once asked about this back then in their past.
Both Yuwi and Haru smiled at her request. "Sure."
"The three of us had been gone through A LOT together after all. Back from the past, the journey, the mission, the quests and the challenges. Also stays in the same dorm too. What kind of possibilities we always have?" Yuwi lets out a small laugh at her own words. And so, the three of them agrees to become a trio.
A few minutes after..
"Ah... I'm so bored right now!" Haru exclaimed.
"There's still 30 minutes left before the practice lesson starts." Yuwi says lowly, reminding the two of them to be prepared.
"Nah, the practice lesson is sooooo boring. All we have to do is just fight those stupid robots and dummies." Haru rolled his eyes to the side as he said it. Is totally already giving up with their practice lesson. Wondering when will the day be over already. "..true." Yuwi sighed.
... silence ...
"Hey, Izuki." Yuwi called.
"Yes, master Yuwi?" Izuki turned to look at her.
"Why do you didn't even say a word? Are you okay?" Yuwi placed a hand on Izuki's shoulder as she asked worriedly. Wondering why she hasn't spoke up since her last question. "Oh, it's because I'm trying to relax and save the energy for the practice lesson. The darkness club needs many energy afterall." Izuki answered calmly.
Haru scoffed at Izuki's words. Finding it quite absurd. "Pfft. No need to worry so much about those. After all, all we have to do is punch the dummies and fight a noob robot." Yuwi nodded in agreement. "He's right."
Izuki sighed before shaking her head. "Nope. Not anymore."
Haru looked at her with a confused look. "Huh? What do you mean 'not anymore'?"
"Don't you read the academy's news board? They said the robots are getting upgraded, which means the strength of the AI will be increased. It also can be the robot will be highly-difficult to be destroyed."
"It's just a robot anyway, why worry too much?"
"I haven't finished yet."
"Oh, sorry."
"By the next few weeks, we'll have to fight our own club teacher. One of the reasons why we should keep training hard by the way." Izuki explained with her usual straight-careless face, as she's an almost emotionless person. Seeming to be very calm about the situation she's explaining by her own right now.
The expression of genuine surprise washed through the both of the half wolf and the demon. "What?! We have to fight our own club teacher?? And you decided to tell us about this just now? You know how the darkness club teacher is like, right?" Yuwi asked for confirmation in slight panic.
"Damn it, why didn't you tell us from the start, you expressionless woman?!" Haru shouted lowly, he's in a panic too.
"I thought you guys already read the academy's news board."
"This wolf?" Yuwi took a quick glance on Haru. "Read the news board? Never. He doesn't read a thing." Haru tried to kick Yuwi's left leg but failed as she already moves it away. "Hey, don't insult me!"
"So that's why all of the student practices so hard starting from a few weeks ago!" Haru repeated again, sounding kind of stressed.
"Guys, there's 15 minutes left before our practice lesson class starts. We better hurry up now." Yuwi reminded.
"Yes, leader."
"Yes, master."
"Bye, Haru. We'll meet again after the practice lesson or maybe see you on the next class if there is another." Both Yuwi and Izuki raised their hand to wave goodbye at Haru before going to their club classroom. (The darkness club)
"Hmph. Alright, bye. See you after class." Haru waved his hand back at them as the three of them goes to their own club classroom.
By the changing room of the darkness club room.
"Izuki." Yuwi called out.
"Yes, what is it?" Izuki answered without looking. Busy with her preparations for the practice lesson. "I was just wondering if.." Yuwi hesitated.
"Do you think I'll be able to pass the test?" She overthinked. This academy is just too out of their minds, seriously. Sometimes, of course things like these will come up as a 'bombshell' dropped on the students. Izuki turned to face Yuwi for awhile. "Of course! After all, we'll get a partner for the test." She says casually before going back to what she's doing right now. "Eh.. why don't you tell me about it earlier?"
"Because the teacher is the one who chooses the partner for your test, I guess?"
"Oh."
"Anyway, good luck, Izuki." Yuwi smiled before heading her way to their class. "Thanks, Yuwi. You too." Izuki follows her along from behind.
And so the practice lesson from each different classes begins. They started off with a little training with the dummies prepared before going to the next level where they have to face the new robots and machines that has been upgraded by the academy.
The robots has been changed their way of programing, that is making them a little bit more violent and aggressive 4 times than before to increase the students energy to hone their talents and abilitys. The students had a hard times facing the robots. Not the case for the upperclass-ranked students and the highclass-ranked students, but they're very troublesome for the lowerclass and middleclass-ranked students to face. Each steps they took had to be careful. Some of them even fainted or seriously got injured after fighting. All situations goes the same on each classes. The club fire, light, water, music, wind, nature, corruption and the others are completely suffering.
Well, what about the trio's thoughts? Let's see..
Izuki : "Hah.. they're stronger than what I least expected." She panted heavily as she goes on attacking the bots.
Yuwi : "Damn, I should probably practice more after this.." Yuwi muttered lowly under her breath as she was also getting tired of fighting.
Haru : "Dang it, they're too strong! I need to learn a lot about light magic after this thing ends.." He cursed under his breath as he continues striking with flashy movements to block the attack.
And this is what happened after the practice lessons.
At the darkness club's classroom, Izuki is walking towards Yuwi to approach her. Going to ask if she's okay after the training. "..Are you okay, master Yuwi?" Izuki asked with a hint of light concern while holding out a bottle of mineral water towards Yuwi, offering a drink. Yuwi smiles as she shrugs off her shoulders, wanting to let Izuki know that she was just fine. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Thanks for the water." She accepts the offer.
"You're welcome."
Yuwi took a few small gulps of the water from the bottle in hand before speaking. "I wonder what happens to that idiot wolf right now." She pulls off the bottle from her mouth.
"Maybe he's already fainted by now."
Well, on the Haru's side, let's just say that he did. He walks out of the classroom then fainted right in front of the Light club classroom door.
By the night time, the trio is already inside their dorm. Waiting for 1am to meet the teachers by the teachers practice room tonight. A yawn was heard, it belongs to the black-haired half wolf with one red stripes on hair at by the couch. Slumped on the couch as if there's nothing to do at all in the world. "I'm bored." Haru grumbles.
"Shut up, it's just 47 minutes left before we had to go to the teacher practice room to meet them. Be patience." Yuwi reminded, though it almost sounded close to scolding. "I wondered if the teachers wants to lecture us or something. Considering to what we did last time." Haru huffed lightly. "You mean, You. And. Izuki." She glared.
Krik.. krikk..
Looks like the crickets decided to fill the atmosphere by the sudden.
Yuwi turned off the stove as she already finished cooking fried rice for the stomach lining for a while. "I already finished cooking. Let's eat before going to the teacher practice room." Yuwi says calmly.
Haru replied. "Yes, mother."
"I'm not your mother." Said Yuwi.
"Well, you sounds like one." He teased with a smirk on his face.
Yuwi gave him a disapproving look along with a glare at his words. "…"
"Chill, I was just messing around with you. Where's Izuki anyway?" He tried to change the topic. Knowing that getting on Yuwi's bad side is not a very wise idea in the first place. She got the best temper when she's too irritated with people. Probably can win a contest even.
Yuwi let out a sigh as he changed the topic. Feeling kind of a little annoyed but relieved. "She told me she accidentally left something at our class and forgot to take it. So she when to our class for awhile."
He flinched at that. "Ewh! ..really? Is she not afraid of going alone or something..?" He's not the one going but he feels the way going alone into a dark class at night. The thought almost made him shiver.
"Dude, are you still afraid of ghost?"
"I never was!"
"You mean you was never, 'never' afraid. Sure."
At Izuki's side inside the dark A-10LRC classroom, she was rummaging through under her desk to search up for the thing. "Luckily the door doesn't get locked."
...
"Hm? Ah, found it. Fortunately no one stole it while I was gone." Izuki said lowly, the feeling of relief washed through her as she managed to get her hands back on the green triangle-horn-shaped necklace back on her hands. "This necklace is the last gift my mother gave me before she passed away." She muttered lowly under her breath. "I'm grateful it hasn't been taken by anyone else.. Glad to see it was still here."
She finally wears the necklace and hides it under her clothes as she turned around to leave the class, but ended up seeing a mysterious creature by one of the classroom window and she was shocked for a second. "Hey, little creature. Are you lost?" Izuki asked, softening her voice as she says it nicely to not scare the creature.
That's before when the mysterious little creature uses their magic and disappeared by the sudden. "…"
"Should I tell them..?"
