Beneath the blooming, sacred white lotus, several powerful presences appeared.
The spiritual power of those spirits washed over Runeterra, causing the Freljord's spirit realm to tremble with it. Had the Freljord not been so rich in magic, that single shock might have caused it to produce pocket realms like Ionia.
Spirit Blossom was already a world attached to the other side of Runeterra, so expanding into new territory in the Freljord would not be too much, right? After all, Ashe had somehow joined Spirit Blossom already, so claiming the Freljord too really was not that unreasonable.
"Whoosh, whoosh."
The air surged. The pink-white lotus gradually faded, and in its place, behind Logan, appeared five figures floating in midair, each with a different build and a different system of power.
Her snake tail swayed, a fan covered her face, and her hairpin was simple yet textured. Cassiopeia's serpentine eyes swept in every direction, curiosity flashing through eyes filled with desire as she swiftly released her divine sense to observe everything around her.
"So this is the material realm?"
"It smells disgusting," Cassiopeia said softly afterward.
"Does it? I think it's fine." A teasing laugh rang out beside her. Her pink hair spread loose, and a bright gemstone swayed gently in her hand as Ahri smiled sweetly.
Unlike Cassiopeia, Ahri respected and cherished life. Cassiopeia, meanwhile, probably only cared for all kinds of exquisite gems and jewelry.
She was a princess of greed, after all.
"I like this world."
Thresh spoke softly. He looked at Logan and said, "I will honor our agreement, Logan. I will not take souls from this world without permission. However, if I encounter lost souls, souls that cannot find their way, souls suited to my world, I will not give them up either."
Logan looked at Thresh speechlessly and was just about to reply when a cool voice interrupted him.
It was Syndra.
"Is this really the time to discuss that? Logan summoned us here because he wants us to deal with those three things, doesn't he?" Syndra's beautiful eyes lifted slightly, her gaze landing on the Frost Watchers. Her tone was calm, but not cold. It was the detachment of someone who had seen through everything.
Speaking of which, Syndra fit the title of witch even better than Lissandra did. But Syndra's outfit made her look more like an old-world enchantress. With her smooth white hair and gorgeous embroidered robes, Syndra truly was beautiful.
"Um, I, we, um..." Holding the Dream-Laden Bough, Lillia spoke timidly. When everyone looked at her, she shrank back, her doe eyes misting over as both hands hugged her weapon even tighter. She quickly shook her head and said, "I, I didn't say anything. I'll listen. I'll listen to all of you."
Ahri immediately wanted to tease Lillia, because Lillia was one of the few Akana spirits who could still mingle with the Kanmei spirits.
That was because Lillia's obsession was different from those of most Akana spirits. Akana spirits carried heavy burdens and were trapped by obsessions that ran too deep, obsessions like hatred, greed, desire, rage...
But what was Lillia's obsession?
It was a trace of resentment and far too much self-blame. She blamed herself for failing to protect the Dreaming Tree, and because she could not let go of that obsession, she became Akana.
Yet by nature, she was more Kanmei than most Kanmei spirits.
"We've had enough time for small talk." Logan interrupted Ahri. Looking at them, he said, "Everyone, please help."
As Logan's voice fell, the five Spirit Blossom gods all found their targets.
Lissandra also appeared beside Logan. Looking at the five powerful spirits, Lissandra was filled with emotion.
She knew Logan had a backup plan, because Logan had never hidden it from her, but she really had not expected that the spirits Logan had brought this time would be even stronger than the ones he had summoned last time.
Of course they were.
In Spirit Blossom, if Thresh and Ahri were tier zero, then tier one would be Lillia, Cassiopeia, Syndra, Evelynn, Soraka, and the others.
And the difference between tier zero and tier one was not a true difference in strength, but a difference in their control over the Spirit Blossom realm. Ahri and Thresh were among the first spirits to be born, and those two were extremely important to Spirit Blossom.
But if Cassiopeia truly flew into a rage, she would not be inferior to Thresh or Ahri. After all, she was the embodiment of greed in the Spirit Blossom realm.
"I, aaaah, I'm going in!"
The first to attack was Lillia. Facing the enormous monster, her deer hooves lightly tapped the void, and her figure appeared before the many-armed Frost Watcher.
Raising the Dream-Laden Bough high, the little fawn shut her eyes, her tempting red lips opening and closing as she muttered something.
"Sorry, I'm sorry, sorry, I'm so sorry!"
"Hum!"
Vast magic converged behind Lillia, and a spiritual apparition instantly appeared. It was an avatar of power countless times larger than Lillia herself, and the Dream-Laden Bough became as huge as one of the Frost Watcher's arms, stretching a hundred meters long.
"Ah!"
With a forceful cry, the little fawn stomped her hoof and unleashed an Ionian Guillotine.
"Rumble!"
The Frost Watcher stretched out its massive hands to block, but in the next instant, both arms snapped apart. Off to the side, however, the eyeball-shaped Frost Watcher had already launched its attack.
"Whoosh!"
A blue-violet beam gathered in the eyeball and shot straight toward Lillia's body. But in the next instant, after a soft "tsk," the sky visibly darkened. An enormous snake emerged from the clouds, its serpentine eyes locked fiercely onto the eyeball Watcher, filled with endless greed. Then, in the next moment, the thousand-meter purple serpent burst out of the clouds, opened its huge mouth, and swallowed the beam.
Cassiopeia shook the fan in her hand and let out a muffled groan.
Fuck, I can't beat this thing!
Forcing herself to take that sneak attack aimed at Lillia had nearly injured her.
Watching from behind, Lissandra's lips twitched slightly.
Even she would not dare forcibly take that strike from the eyeball Frost Watcher. This beautiful woman with the fan was indeed very powerful, but she was still far weaker than Lissandra, yet she had forcibly taken that attack?
After thinking it over, Lissandra found the reason.
It was probably because these spirits came from another world. They were embodiments of spiritual power. Unlike people in the material realm, who possessed all seven emotions and six desires and were easily infected by the Void, their passions and desires were often limited to only one thing, and directed only toward that one thing.
So the Void's most troublesome power, the power that corrupted wills and infected hearts, did not work on them?
In that case, these people were the perfect anti-Void weapons!
Once Lissandra understood that, she felt delighted. Then she made her move too.
Helping Lillia, Lissandra shackled the many-armed Frost Watcher, and when Lillia saw it, she timidly nodded toward Lissandra and whispered, "Thank you. Thank you for helping me."
"You're welcome," Lissandra said, rarely bothering to respond.
Ahri and Syndra soon found their target as well. The two powerful Kanmei spirits appeared before the twisted deer-shaped Frost Watcher.
Both used orbs, and both used magic. Beneath the flashing lights filling the sky, the deer-shaped Watcher was beaten back step by step.
Logan: "..."
Nilah: "..."
"Are we just going to stand here and watch?" Logan looked at Nilah. He suddenly realized he seemed to have no use here.
The five spirits he had summoned, combined with Lissandra, just happened to make three pairs facing three Watchers.
Had he and Nilah become spectators?
Nilah's lips curved in a smile, and excitement filled her eyes, but what she said sent Logan straight into mock outrage.
"What? You're the useless one, not me."
"I'm going in!"
With a long shout, Nilah leapt high into the air, and the water blade in her hand was already slashing toward the deer-shaped Watcher.
She had been annoyed by that giant deer for a long time!
Among the three Frost Watchers present, only it best fit Nilah's tastes. A creature this enormous, this twisted, this strange, and this powerful, wasn't it the perfect target for a hero to slay?
"..."
Logan flipped his wrist, and a longsword appeared. Then he also rushed toward the deer-shaped Frost Watcher.
Kill one first, then surround the next one!
They could leave the hardest one to kill, the eyeball Watcher, to Thresh and Cassiopeia for now!
As the weakest of the three, this giant deer Frost Watcher should not take long to kill with Ahri, Syndra, and Nilah's strength. Not to mention, there was still him!
Logan slashed the giant deer Frost Watcher's twisted antler, carving out a shallow mark.
But in the next instant, a bright orb flew from Ahri's embrace and struck the giant deer Frost Watcher in the face. With a rumble, its figure staggered and toppled backward.
Nilah swept out a sky full of water mist, severed one of its antlers with a single slash, and rushed to the very front while laughing loudly, serving as the tank.
Even back when Logan played the game, he had always wanted to say this. As a marksman, Nilah fought more like a fighter than actual fighters did!
Syndra chanted a long song, countless smooth orbs circling around her hand. In the next instant, they thundered into the fallen body of the giant deer Frost Watcher, inflicting even greater damage on it.
Each orb left a pit several hundred meters wide in the giant deer Frost Watcher's body. After its ice armor shattered, purple blood flowed out from within.
Off to the side, the many-armed Watcher saw this and stretched several huge hands over, wanting to help the giant deer Watcher.
But under a timid voice, Lillia stopped it.
"N-no, you can't. If I let you leave, I-I'll get scolded!"
"No!"
Lillia cried out as she swung the Dream-Laden Bough in her hand and anxiously launched an attack. The enormous apparition behind her moved with her, and the giant deer and the huge version of the Dream-Laden Bough began to spin and swing. In the next instant, the surrounding snowy mountains were sliced open, and even space itself seemed to be cut apart. The falling snowflakes froze in place for a single instant, and then the snowy mountains collapsed with a thunderous roar.
The little fawn screamed as she tore through everything!
Lissandra also froze the many-armed Watcher's arms while continuously using her power to weaken it.
"Hurry up!" But Cassiopeia's side was clearly not doing well.
The snake woman urged them on, already coughing blood.
And Logan?
Looking at the fallen giant deer Watcher, he could not help himself.
Holy shit, the four of us are fucking strong!
