Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Inner Thoughts

Chi Chengzhou's piercing gaze swept over his kneeling subordinates, his silent reprimand more effective than any shouted orders. The assembled martial arts masters and talented individuals knew better than to speak out of turn in the face of their boss's displeasure.

He walked slowly among them, his injured shoulder barely noticeable beneath his jacket. Each step he took exuded an aura of authority and dominance that commanded respect.

As he moved, the men and women bowed their heads lower, their bodies trembling slightly with a mix of fear and admiration. They were the cream of the crop, handpicked by Chi Chengzhou himself for their exceptional skills and loyalty.

Seung-ho pulled over at home and he yawned as he walked inside. Kathy pulled Seung-ho over and checked if he was wounded.

"I heard there was a gang fight be careful," Sam said.

"Okay Uncle Sam and Auntie Kathy," Seung-ho said.

"Cousin! We made a social media of you!" Yin and Hina both said in unsion.

"I see so you two girls are going to be the fan club," Seung-ho asked.

"That's right! We are your biggest fans!" They shouted.

"Yup bro look at this," Jae-hye said as he showed a photo of him. Seung-ho was speechless but didn't bother with anything.

Four days later

Director Lu was complaining how he couldn't find the right actor to play a psycho villain.

"All these guys are just so and so! I want someone who has psycho within his blood but these people no nothing catches my eyes what are you crew members doing!? We need to do this shot and make sure everything is fine!" Director Lu said. A crew member pushed her glasses up and stepped forward.

"Director Lu watch this episode of Hidden Valley, look at this actor," the woman said. The Director Lu took the phone and looked at the episode his eyes widen as he watched the actor.

Director Lu's eyes widened as he watched the actor on the screen, his performance sending chills down his spine. The man's portrayal of a psycho villain was eerily convincing, his every move and expression dripping with menace and madness.

"This... this is exactly what I've been looking for," Director Lu muttered, his voice filled with excitement and awe.

He turned to the crew member who had suggested the video, a look of gratitude on his face.

"Who is this actor? We need to sign him immediately!"

The crew member smiled, pleased with herself for finding such a gem.

"I'm not sure about his name, but he only appeared in one episode as a guest star. I managed to track down some information about him, though."

She handed Director Lu a folder containing Seung-ho's details - or rather, the fake identity he had used for that particular role.

Director Lu flipped through the pages eagerly, his mind already racing with ideas for how to incorporate this incredible talent into his film.

"Get him he will play the role of the psycho stalker," Director Lu said.

"Seung-ho! Seung-ho!" Jasper shouted.

"Bro what's up?" Seung-ho asked.

"Hehe you won't believe it I got a call from Director Lu wants you to play in the Mask Stalker!" Jasper said.

"What!" Yoo-na shouted and the other girl also joined in. The three others guys also chimed in.

"Is he a big deal?" Seung-ho asked.

Jasper nodded enthusiastically, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Oh my god, yes! Director Lu is a huge deal in the Korean film industry. He's directed some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in recent years. Getting a role in his new movie is a massive opportunity for any actor!"

The others nodded in agreement, their faces flushed with admiration and envy.

"You're so lucky, Seung-ho!" Yoo-na exclaimed, her voice tinged with a hint of jealousy.

"Most actors would kill for a chance like this."

Seung-ho leaned back in his chair, trying to process the sudden turn of events.

"They also pay well," Ji-hoon said.

"You should do it, make connections within the entertainment world," Hye-rin said she opened up her phone and showed movies that Director Lu has directed.

"This is his first thriller movie so many people are waiting for him to fail," Soo-jin said as he leaned his chin on Seung-ho shoulder.

"But be careful the more you are famous the more people want to destroy you," Min-Jae said.

"Damn, you guys are just scaring him," Soo-Jia said.

Seung-ho listened to his friends' advice and concerns, his mind racing with the implications of this sudden opportunity. He knew that entering the world of Korean cinema would be a significant change from his current life, but the prospect of showcasing his acting abilities on a larger scale was tempting.

Seung-ho got the email saw the script. He only has two episodes but the first part is him stalking the woman in the rain and how he kills her within the red roses, and the other part is how he is caught and they are questioning him.
