Chapter 2 - Pyschic Power

Chapter 3: Psychic Power and Aura — Indifference and Closeness

Kyle's eyes were half-lidded as he suppressed the urge to summon Rayquaza immediately. The Lucky Berry's effect still lingered, giving him a precious advantage.

He didn't waste a second. The three remaining normal draws were far too many to ignore.

"Start," he said, calm.

[Stop!]

[Congratulations, host: Complete (reusable) TM acquired.]

Kyle placed it aside without a flicker of excitement. Efficiency over emotion.

"Next."

[Stop!]

[Congratulations, host: Enhanced Psychic Power acquired.]

"Continue."

[Stop!]

[Congratulations, host: Enhanced Aura Power acquired.]

Kyle exhaled once, internalizing the changes. Psychic energy hummed through his mind, subtle yet immense. He could feel himself lifting, floating, and even teleporting if he wanted. Aura coursed through his veins, the essence of life itself, quietly augmenting his ability to communicate with Pokémon.

He didn't grin. He didn't shout. He simply felt the calm hum of power, the quiet thrill of competence.

The TM was next. [Complete TM (Reusable)]—allowing Pokémon to learn any skill repeatedly. Kyle appreciated its utility but remained indifferent. Pokémon would still need training. The TM was a convenience, not a shortcut.

Finally, the Master Ball. Kyle smirked faintly, just enough to catch Cynthia's eye if she were watching. Rayquaza was already loyal to him; the Master Ball was ceremonial, a safeguard for the mythic dragon that was already more ally than captive.

"Rayquaza!" Kyle's voice was quiet, almost casual.

A shimmering, ice-blue dragon appeared. It roared once, then lowered its massive head to nuzzle Kyle gently. Its eyes glimmered with intelligence and warmth, the bond unspoken but absolute.

Kyle reached up, running a hand along Rayquaza's cold, sleek body. Comfortable. Familiar. Protective. His Pokémon didn't need words—they already knew his care, quiet as it was.

[Rayquaza]

[Potential: Super Mythical]

[Strength: Peak Super Mythical Level]

[Attributes: Dragon, Flight, Ice]

[Skill: Air Lock]

[Hidden Feature: Telepathy]

[Height: 12m]

[Weight: 352.7kg]

Kyle studied the status calmly. Three attributes? Unusual, but fitting for a Shiny of this magnitude. Telepathy was expected; mythical Pokémon communicated naturally, especially those loyal to him.

"Female," Kyle noted internally as Rayquaza confirmed it telepathically. The acknowledgment didn't surprise him much—his world simply worked that way now.

"Return," he commanded softly. Rayquaza slithered back into the Master Ball with a gentle hum of satisfaction.

Kyle exited the system space, carrying the Pokémon egg and Master Ball. His mental energy surged; psychic and aura powers intertwined seamlessly, fatigue long gone.

Cynthia sat in the living room, Gible by her side. "Resting?" she asked, frowning.

Kyle gave her a brief glance. "No."

She raised an eyebrow. "And why?"

Kyle didn't answer immediately, instead placing the egg and Master Ball on the table. "Something good."

Cynthia's eyes widened. The Master Ball alone was enough to unsettle her. The Pokémon inside? That was beyond imagining. She leaned closer, curiosity and excitement battling her possessiveness.

Kyle remained calm, indifferent to her reaction, though internally he considered her reactions. Only she mattered. Only she deserved to share these moments.

"Don't tell me… you caught a weak Pokémon?" Cynthia panicked slightly.

Kyle's calm aura only intensified. "It isn't about weakness. It's about compatibility."

He ignored her minor hysteria, knowing the true power lay in the loyalty and bond of his Pokémon. Rayquaza, the egg's future inhabitant, all of them female, all of them fiercely loyal, knew his quiet care. When alone, they clung to him. Cynthia, of course, did the same, pressing close, fingers brushing his arm, a constant reminder that she was his and he hers.

He didn't need to display affection. His Pokémon understood. Cynthia understood.

Kyle's gaze shifted skyward. Competitions, leagues, and regions awaited. Leagues he would dominate silently, always with Cynthia at his side, always surrounded by the aura of legendary power and loyalty.

The room was quiet, the calm before action, and Kyle's expression remained unreadable—indifferent to the world, but wholly devoted to his sister and the Pokémon who followed him silently.
