Chapter 152 - Chapter 152: This Woman Is Quite the Talent Too!

After the two external helpers took the stage.

Zeig freed his hands and walked to another part of the museum.

This place was very secluded.

In the corner, an old man stood with his hands behind his back, staring blankly.

His turbid eyes were lost in thought, silently gazing at the empty space in the corner.

It seemed something should have been exhibited here originally.

"Old sir, I'm here! Which thief dares covet my private property? Give me the coordinates—I'll go kill my way over right now!" Zeig walked over with hands in pockets, very domineeringly approaching the old man.

This old man named Yordan turned slightly and smiled faintly:

"Executive Officer, the collection to be supplemented this time wasn't stolen by anyone, but…"

"But what?" Zeig raised an eyebrow.

"But… it's not finished yet."

"…"

Zeig took a deep breath:

"Aren't we exhibiting artifacts? A freshly painted picture counts as an artifact?"

Yordan chuckled:

"Haha, this painting is by the master artist Reibini. Executive Officer, he still owes the general area three paintings."

Seeing Zeig still doubtful, Yordan continued explaining:

"This painter graduated from Belobog Art Academy and is a representative of the current 'Itinerant Art School.' One could say he's a titan of Belobog's art world."

Zeig raised an eyebrow:

"Like a living legend?"

Yordan nodded:

"You could put it that way, Executive Officer. Now that the general area is fully open inside and out, we at least need to complete the exhibits in this section."

Hearing this.

Zeig nodded, pulled an AK from his coat, and grinned viciously:

"I understand. I'll go drag him over right now and make him paint under watch! This museum is mine now—he owes me! If he doesn't finish, he can forget about leaving alive!!"

"Wait, wait—don't be impulsive, Executive Officer!"

Seeing Zeig grab the AK like he was about to charge out for a fight, Yordan hurriedly lunged and hugged his leg:

"It's just that the submission is a bit late—there's really no need to be so forceful!"

"Don't hold me back! Quick, tell me where that guy is. Don't worry, I'll be extremely gentle—absolutely very gentle hahahaha…!!"

"Really…? Then, Executive Officer, go search the suburban snow plains. Eh… don't, don't run so fast!!"

After hearing the keyword "suburban snow plains," Zeig immediately grabbed the AK and dashed out like lightning!

He charged through the hall, leaped over the gate.

While "rat-tat-tat" firing into the sky, he ran like a mad dog toward Belobog's city walls.

At the museum's fountain, a child saw Zeig leap straight up onto the fountain edge, then leap high again onto a distant building roof, and couldn't help clapping and exclaiming:

"Mama, Superman! I saw Superman!"

The child's mother scolded:

"You silly kid, playing games all day has ruined your eyes! That's clearly a terrorist robbing the museum—didn't you see the gun in his hand!"

"Then… then why aren't the Guards chasing him?"

"Can they catch him? You try chasing!"

"…Oh."

"Sigh." The mother held the child's hand, glanced at the museum, but left in the opposite direction.

As she walked along the main road with the child, she sighed long:

"The Guards these days are so useless? They don't even chase and just give up… Better head back to the Underworld. No point entering this museum—it's trash."

"What, robbing the museum?"

At that moment, a white-haired girl sitting by the fountain eating ice cream widened her eyes.

She had overheard the mother's words and only then realized the person just now was a terrorist.

Though he looked a bit familiar.

Kiana immediately stood up:

"Looks like no time for slacking!"

In the eyes of the crowd around the fountain, Kiana stomped hard on the ground! Her whole body shot out like an arrow from a bow, chasing straight after the direction the black shadow had left.

"Wow, Mama! Another terrorist! Look, look!" A nearby child exclaimed in surprise.

"Kid, what nonsense! That's clearly Superman!"

"Huh?" The child looked up at his mother holding his hand, puzzled:

"Mama, how exactly do you tell terrorists from Superman?"

The old mother smacked the boy's forehead and scolded: "Stupid, the one in black clothes is the thief, right? The one chasing him is Superman! Do you think watching TV only turns your eyes to 900 degrees?! No more TV from now on! No phones or games either—study properly!"

"…"

While the child was dazed, the mother looked toward where Kiana had gone and murmured:

"Well, since someone from the Overworld went to chase him, I'll reluctantly admit they're not that useless. Come on, kid, let's go in and take a look."

The old mother turned with the child and headed back toward the museum entrance.

At the edge of Belobog city.

Kiana stepped on the city wall and leaped high!

In that moment, she was as light as a bird.

Though the terrorist's figure was no longer visible, she vaguely remembered the general direction.

"Eh!" Suddenly, Kiana's vision went black.

Her whole body fell from midair.

Faintly, two energy links appeared on her body. One led toward the direction the terrorist had fled and now snapped abruptly.

The other came from Belobog behind her, emitting a very weak light, taut and straight.

Inside the museum.

Otto stood quietly, his refined and elegant demeanor along with his magnetic voice carrying incomparable charm.

Many tourists felt that listening to him introduce the exhibits one by one was pure enjoyment.

Though he occasionally flipped through the materials in his hand, it never felt unprofessional.

"Ka—!!"

"Hm?"

Suddenly, a faint sound caught Otto's attention.

He looked toward the front desk in the lobby, where a fiery red long sword lay quietly.

In Otto's vision, the long sword split into two energy chains—one connected to himself, the other leading outside.

"Eh? Where did she go." The blond man was momentarily stunned.

"Mr. Otto, why'd you stop talking? Keep going!" A tourist saw Otto freeze and reminded him.

"Haha… sorry, sorry~"

Some time later.

A mud-covered girl walked dejectedly back into the museum.

Alice saw her and hurried over:

"Kiana, you… what happened to you? Wait, when did you go out? Weren't you supposed to be leading tourists on tours?"

"Uh…" Kiana awkwardly dodged the topic, guilty as she said:

"I-I'm fine… I heard a thief stole something from the museum—I had to go catch him!"

With that, the mud-covered girl walked to the front desk, grabbed the Judgment of Shamash great sword that had been linked to her, and charged right back out.

The whole process was so fast that Alice didn't even react.

Some time later.

"Pfft—!!"

Under the gaze of the tourists, Otto's vision darkened. A sudden wave of dizziness struck, causing him to collapse weakly to the ground.

He knelt on the floor, looking gravely toward the front desk.

It was empty.

The Judgment of Shamash great sword that had been transmitting the energy needed for his existence was now gone.

"How could…?"

His voice became incredibly hoarse, his body flickering faintly, on the verge of disappearing.

"Mr. Otto, what's wrong?!"

"Ambulance! Ambulance!"

"Oh no! Someone died in the museum!"
