Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Hiyori Town Farm, Breaking Ground!

After tidying up the messy house, Hakuya led Gardevoir toward the farmland behind the wooden cabin.

In this world, most people his age were either traveling to collect Gym Badges or joining Team Rocket to steal Pokémon.

Few would waste their prime youth inheriting a dilapidated farm in a small, remote town.

If it weren't for the System, Hakuya, who dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Master in his past life, would have likely traveled with Gardevoir.

The farm was roughly divided into three areas: the center was the original tilled land for planting crops.

However, due to neglect, the once-planned fields had long since become a desolate wilderness.

Meanwhile, a river originating from Mt. Coronet flowed through the middle of the farm, splitting it into East and West.

To the East was a vast grassland with lush, succulent grass, where Jumpluffs would occasionally float by on the breeze.

On the western side of the grassland, a medium-sized lake lay hidden.

According to the Mayor of Hiyori Town, many fish and Water-type Pokémon resided within those waters.

Looking west past the central fields, the terrain turned into rolling hills—the perfect spot for planting Berries.

"Gardevoir~"

Gardevoir's eyes glowed with a faint purple hue; she had already reverted to her original Pokémon form.

In the next second, Hakuya was brought to the farmland by her Teleportation.

Unlike the fresh, natural grass paths they had just walked, this barren field was overgrown with tangled weeds and wild brush.

The tall weeds were like a dense jungle, blocking the sunlight and making the fields look dark and chaotic.

[Farm Upgrade Quest 1: After long-term neglect, the farm fields are overgrown. As the owner, you must till over three acres of land.]

**[Quest Reward: Premium Wang-Wang Grain Seeds *500, Premium Roll-Roll Bean Seeds 200, Rare Candy 3]

"I knew there would be upgrade quests," Hakuya nodded slightly as the System prompt rang out.

The number of traits he and his Pokémon could equip was directly tied to the level of the farm.

The higher the System's rating of the farm, the more trait slots would be unlocked.

Currently, a Level 1 Farm allowed them to equip a maximum of two traits at once.

"It seems I need to speed up construction and make this farm legendary," Hakuya thought, looking at the endless weeds.

This wasn't just about strength; right now, he only had Gardevoir as his "Juicer," and he still had stamina to spare.

If more Pokémon-girls arrived in a few days and he only had two Purple traits, even with his talent, his body wouldn't hold up.

Therefore, he had to accelerate the farm's development to unlock more trait slots.

"Gardevoir, let's get to work!" Hakuya rolled up his sleeves and raised a sickle from the warehouse.

"Gardevoir~" Hearing the command, Gardevoir entered her professional work mode.

Setting aside her occasional nymphomania in humanoid form, the Gardevoir trained by Hakuya since childhood was powerful.

Equipped with dual traits after their deep interactions, her current strength surpassed the main teams of many high-level Gym Leaders.

With a soft cry, a massive surge of energy erupted from her body.

Psychic energy was compressed into sword-like ripples, sweeping across the field she pointed toward like a storm.

Extrasensory: Ten Thousand Swords Return to Origin!

Under the cooperation of man and Pokémon, the land was soon leveled as if plowed by a bulldozer.

Of course, they encountered a few small surprises while clearing the weeds.

"Gardevoir?" Busy weeding, Gardevoir's eyes lit up as she picked up several shiny, block-like objects from the ground.

"It's a Hard Stone."

With the System's automatic identification, Hakuya quickly learned the name and quality of the items in his hand.

*[Hard Stone 3 (Blue): Increases a Pokémon's control over Rock-type energy and enhances physical durability.]

If Hakuya remembered correctly, these items were quite popular among competitive Trainers.

Many sought them through wilderness exploration or trade, with market prices ranging from thousands to hundreds of thousands of Credits.

Based on market rates, these three Blue-quality Hard Stones could sell for about 15,000 Credits—a huge income for the farm.

With this money, he could hire a construction crew from town to help repair the old wooden cabin.

"Great job," Hakuya smiled and rubbed Gardevoir's head in praise.

"Gardevoir~" Gardevoir clearly enjoyed the head-pat, closing her eyes in bliss.

But after a moment, she shook her head.

"Eh? Do you want a different reward?" Hakuya paused, confused.

"Gardevoir~" Gardevoir nodded naturally, her face flushing crimson out of nowhere.

Before Hakuya could ask what she wanted, those heavy, snow-white mounds surged toward him.

The world spun; the blushing, heart-eyed Gardevoir used Teleport to whisk her Trainer back into the cabin.

At some point, she had transformed back into her humanoid form.

The golden morning sun spilled through the window as Gardevoir stood barefoot on the wooden floor.

Her long, slender legs were partially visible beneath the hem of her gossamer white dress.

Ignoring the blush spreading from her ears to her collarbone and her hazy emerald eyes, she looked like a cold, elegant beauty.

But alas...

"Master..."

As she spoke, Gardevoir supported herself on the edge of the bed, bending over and arching her hips.

Her white dress draped down like silk clouds. "Please... reward me... ruthlessly..." she whispered, looking back with watery eyes.

Her buttocks quivered slightly with her breath, like a ripe peach waiting to be plucked.

[Obtained Trait: Psychic Surge (White)]

"Sigh, lazy again," Hakuya sighed after the "battle" ended hours later.

"Gardevoir~"

After cuddling for a while, Hakuya led the lingering Gardevoir back to the fields.

Staying focused and working hard was the only way forward!

"Oddish!"

While the two were weeding with fiery passion, several Pokémon stumbled out from the cut grass and fainted.

"Odd-Oddish—"

Looking at the fainted Pokémon with swirls in their eyes and leaves on their heads, Hakuya didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

He didn't expect that several disguised Oddish were hiding within the overgrown weeds!

He used some Potion on the little ones, and once they regained their energy, he released them back into the nearby forest.

"However, it would be great if I had a Pokémon that could help with the actual tilling," Hakuya lamented.

He looked back at the vast, open land they had just cleared of weeds, feeling the weight of the work ahead.
