Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: T vs Z — The Power of Adaptation

The bell rang, and the duel officially began.

Kavya wasted no time. With her Z-Status (Fire and Water), she exploded toward Shiv like a heat-seeking missile. Her Muay Thai style was a lethal combination of fluid movements and explosive force. She rushed Shiv with a barrage of strikes that left afterimages in the air.

Surprisingly, Shiv—who had zero formal training—relied entirely on his instincts. His eyes tracked her movements with unnatural precision, dodging her strikes by hair's breadth.

"I told you!" Veer sneered from the sidelines. "He's only here because of his father's name. He has no idea how to fight."

Kavya launched a thunderous punch, but Shiv blocked it with his amateur boxing stance. He found a split-second opening and countered with a heavy blow to Kavya's stomach.

Thump!

Kavya didn't flinch. She used the momentum to pivot, delivering a devastating, heavy roundhouse kick directly into Shiv's ribs.

"Ghh!" Shiv groaned, the impact sending him stumbling back. The pain was sharp, and he struggled to catch his breath.

"Match over," Veer declared, turning away.

But Shiv stood back up. He wiped the blood from his lip, ignoring the searing pain. His gaze locked onto Kavya as he rushed her again, but this time, something was different.

Kavya prepared to finish him. "Haven't you learned your lesson, Legacy Boy?"

She unleashed her full 'Li' (Physical Energy) for a final strike, expecting Shiv's simple punch to crumble. But the entire arena gasped. Shiv suddenly shifted his weight, his entire posture changing in an instant. He wasn't boxing anymore. He was using Taekwondo—Veer's own signature style—to block her attack perfectly.

"What?!" Kavya's eyes widened. "How much power is this? I used my full Li!"

Shiv didn't give her a chance to recover. He pivoted back into a boxing stance and delivered a full-power 'Li-infused' punch straight to Kavya's guard. The force was so immense that Kavya's energy couldn't hold.

CRASH!

Kavya was sent skidding across the ring, falling to the floor. Visible 'Li' energy was radiating from Shiv's body in thick, chaotic waves. It was far beyond the level of any new student.

Sir Dixit stood in shock. "This... this isn't the power of a rookie."

However, the sudden surge was too much for Shiv's untrained body. His vision blurred, and he collapsed, losing consciousness just as the match ended.

Sir Dixit checked the condition of both fighters. "Kavya is the winner!"

Shiv was immediately rushed to the medical bay, leaving the entire class in a stunned silence. The 'T-Status' had made its mark.
