"A primitive from a backward world… and you think you can talk to me like that?"
Kly'bn's ugly face twisted slightly as his cold eyes fixed on Lucas.
Lucas sneered.
"Still better than a so-called god who got beaten so badly by the Kree that he had to run away like a rat."
"Human… you are seeking death."
Kly'bn's tone remained calm, but his voice now carried unmistakable killing intent.
At that moment, Clark suddenly stepped forward, moving past Lucas and standing directly in front of Kly'bn.
He stared at the alien and said firmly,
"I don't care who you are. Take your people and leave Earth right now."
"And never come back."
"Otherwise, once a real battle begins… things won't be reversible."
Lucas sighed helplessly when he heard that.
Clark simply refused to give up. He still wanted to make one last attempt at persuading the enemy.
'Some people never learn until reality teaches them the lesson,' Lucas thought.
He remained silent and stepped back, allowing Clark to face the enemy directly.
Meanwhile, Lucas quietly used his personal terminal to send urgent messages to President Ellis, the New York City government, and Tony Stark.
Ten seconds later, communication requests from Tony, Ellis, and the Mayor of New York arrived simultaneously.
Lucas accepted them all at once.
"Let's keep this brief," Lucas said quickly.
"The Skrull god has appeared."
"I need you to evacuate New York immediately. Do it as fast as possible."
"Notify nearby cities as well and start evacuating them."
The people on the call instantly turned pale.
They hadn't expected the Skrull god to appear—and in New York, one of the largest cities in the world.
"I've already ordered emergency evacuation alerts," the mayor said nervously.
"But could you try to stall him if possible? New York has far too many people. We can't move everyone that quickly."
Lucas glanced at Kly'bn.
"I'll do my best to delay him."
"But I don't know how strong he is yet. I can only try."
"Thank you, Lucas," Ellis said sincerely.
Lucas ended the call and turned his attention back to the battle.
Clark and Kly'bn had already exchanged several rounds of verbal confrontation, but neither side seemed capable of convincing the other.
The next second—
Clark's expression hardened and he charged forward.
Kly'bn remained motionless, clearly showing no concern at all.
Clark threw a nearly full-power punch.
But Kly'bn casually caught the blow, barely exerting any effort.
"So this is the strength you rely on?" Kly'bn asked with disdain.
Clark's eyes instantly glowed bright red.
A blazing heat vision beam shot out and struck Kly'bn directly.
The attack lasted several seconds.
But when Clark stopped, Kly'bn remained completely unharmed.
Not even a single scratch.
Even Lucas narrowed his eyes at that sight.
Clark's attacks were far from ordinary—yet this creature had taken them effortlessly.
"Too weak," Kly'bn said, shaking his head with disappointment.
Clark's face changed.
He immediately released a powerful freeze breath, trying to freeze the enemy and gain distance.
In an instant, Kly'bn's entire body was covered in ice.
But he casually moved his body.
The ice shattered instantly.
"Enough."
"Now it's my turn."
Kly'bn suddenly attacked.
One of the massive arms behind him shot forward toward Clark.
Clark tried to dodge.
But the giant hand seemed to pierce through space itself, instantly grabbing Clark's face.
Clark struggled desperately, but he couldn't break free.
As the hand tightened, Clark began to groan in pain.
Lucas realized he might need to intervene.
But then—
Clark suddenly stopped shouting.
A faint white glow began to emerge from his body.
"Hm?"
Both Lucas and Kly'bn looked puzzled.
Clark's veins bulged as he grabbed the alien's hand.
Then—
The grip that had seemed like an iron vice started to move.
Kly'bn immediately reacted.
Several of his arms swung forward, striking Clark with terrifying force.
Four massive blows landed on Clark simultaneously.
Yet something unexpected happened.
Clark didn't even try to dodge.
He took the attacks head-on.
And when the strikes ended—
Clark wasn't injured at all.
It was as if the attacks had been nothing more than a light scratch.
Even Lucas looked surprised.
But then he remembered something.
Clark was Superman—DC's ultimate "favorite son."
Lucas glanced upward.
The sun blazed brightly in the sky.
'Right… that explains it.'
Clark was famous for one thing:
As long as the sun shines, he is almost impossible to kill.
His energy supply is practically limitless.
Lucas also realized something else.
Clark was truly furious now.
He was no longer holding back.
In the original stories, Clark's power often fluctuated wildly.
The reason was simple.
His kindness constantly restrained him subconsciously.
It acted like a permanent mental debuff, limiting his true strength.
But when facing pure villains like Darkseid—enemies who truly enraged him—
Clark's power skyrocketed to an entirely different level.
And right now—
Clark had reached that state.
The restraint in his heart had vanished.
The real Superman had appeared.
---
BOOM!
Clark broke free from Kly'bn's grip.
Then he threw a lightning-fast punch straight into the alien's jaw.
The impact sounded like a massive war hammer striking steel.
The shockwave echoed across the sky above New York.
Even in his rage, Clark still subconsciously protected the city.
His punch launched Kly'bn high into the sky.
Clark immediately followed.
Punch after punch rained down.
Each strike carried terrifying power.
The air itself rippled with visible shockwaves.
Massive clouds in the sky were blasted apart by the force.
From the outside, it looked like Clark had completely gained the upper hand.
Kly'bn seemed utterly unable to fight back.
But Lucas continued watching quietly.
If this enemy were truly so weak—
How could he possibly have survived against the Kree Empire for so many years?
