Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 - Delinquency

The next morning, Yukio and Sora were back at the training area. Sora was strangely excited and Yukio was intrigued by whatever Sora was excited about.

"Big bro, what are the plans for today?" Yukio asked Sora excitedly, curious about what cool trick they were about to practice today.

Sora grinned. "Let's spend our day playing around with the sense tricking ability." He quickly analysed Yukio's chakra to see if he was good to go… and he was all back to normal!

As a matter of fact… Sora's eyes widened a little. "Yukio, your chakra reserves… they've gotten bigger!" Sora said incredulously as he analysed him further.

Yukio's eyes also widened a little. "Does this mean using chakra can make it bigger? Like a muscle?" He could feel his excitement growing even more, if they kept this up… their chakra reserves could be huge!

Sora was now just even more excited for what they were going to do today. Yukio was also looking at Sora with a sparkle in his eye.

In a secluded alley in the Great Shuen Village, a group of young boys around the ages of 8-9 were picking on a young girl, who was crying in a corner.

"You actually have a… crush on that loser? Hahaha!" The biggest boy pointed at a dark skinned boy who was laying on the floor, unconscious.

The girl trembled in fear. "Why… why do you care?" She said, tears welling up in her eyes.

The biggest boy of the group laughed once more, not even giving her a reply. The girl, filled with resentment, suddenly spat in the boy's face.

He froze, suddenly filled with anger. He grit his teeth and raised a fist, throwing a heavy punch right towards the girls face.

"Melt…" a very quiet whisper entered the boy's ears, but he ignored it.

*SPLAT!*

The boy's eyes widened in horror as the girl's head splattered into a brown sludge all over the wall before her whole body melted into a dark brown sludge.

He stepped back in horror, looking around at his friends, who were similarly turning into piles of brown mush. The boy covered his eyes and fell on his backside, screaming in fear.

On a rooftop above the alley, two young men were giggling uncontrollably.

In the real world, the fat kid had punched at air and suddenly fell on his backside screaming. Oh, and the cherry on top… he had actually soiled his pants.

Yukio found this especially hilarious, these were the kids that had picked on him after all.

The two went back to watching on as the group of children ran away from their boss, who was screaming, rolling and defecting on the floor. The girl who was pushed into a corner ran over to her friend and helped him up.

Sora and Yukio looked at each other and smiled before moving to another rooftop, looking for people to practice their techniques on.

They ended up in the most populated area, both perched atop the rooftops again. They looked down, scanning the area for a target.

And that's when Sora saw her. The woman who had wanted him to get tortured! Or well, punished. And he knew exactly what to do.

"Hmm, green or red apples…" the woman wondered aloud while picking out various fruits for her family.

"Heretic…" a very quiet voice crept into her ear.

She hummed in thought, looking at the prices and comparing quality. When suddenly…

"Mei Sato. I have come to bring judgement upon you for your sins against my blessed, Sora Hino." A loud, terrifying, powerful voice came from the skies.

The woman looked up in horror as she saw a gigantic, white and gold peacock perched atop a rooftop.

She dropped her grocery bags and fell to her knees, bowing repeatedly while muttering about repenting for her sin.

"Remain bowed for half an hour to be forgiven for your sins." The large bird spoke, the woman not even hesitating before following his command.

On the rooftop, Sora burst out laughing and fell on his back. "Oh my… I'm so glad I met that big bird to get a perfect depiction for this! That was so hilarious!" He couldn't stop laughing, but he needed a break. Messing with sound, sight and smell was extremely intricate and required too much of his chakra. But he felt like that was a very reasonable development.

Yukio couldn't help but giggle, he didn't know what Sora did exactly but he had been told about what this woman had done, he also found that quite funny. Yukio then looked around a bit more and saw a man kick a puppy.

His eyes sharpened and he almost shouted. "Rot."

Yukio's head started to throb, that had taken out a good chunk of his chakra. He'd need to take a rest with Sora after watching this show.

The man kicked a puppy for stealing a slice of meat. He was a tall, fat, balding middle aged man.

He spat on the floor next to the dog and was about to kick it once more when he felt a sharp pain in his hand.

He looked over at his hand and his eyes shot open wide. The fat old man looked at his hand in horror, it was green, puss pouring out of cracked skin and his fingers were falling off.

The man screamed in agony, the pain in his hand feeling more than real. He watched in pure terror as his hand slowly began crumbling more and more, blood and puss spilling onto the floor as the smell of rotting flesh invaded his nostrils, making him throw up in real time.

By now, the puppy had gone and grabbed a whole leg of meat and ran off with it.

Yukio gripped his head as he stopped influencing the chakra in the man and sat down to rest.

Sora, who had stopped laughing and watched the scene, looked at Yukio with a knowing grin. His friend over here was starting to get quite a bit less docile and quite a bit more gruesome.

The man, who had just watched his hand fall off suddenly snapped back to reality, the pain completely gone. His hand went back to normal. But he was still on his knees in a pool of his own bile, not to mention most of his meat had been stolen by either really hungry people who took advantage of the situation or any street animals.

Now, Sora could see a man crouched in a pool of throw up and a woman still bowing her head on the floor. He couldn't help but start laughing again.

Yukio looked over at him and started to laugh as well. But, their laughter was short lived.

"What are you two up to?" A voice Yukio thought he'd heard before suddenly came from behind them.

He tensed up, quickly scrambling to his feet and ready to mess up the newcomer's senses with his chakra. But he suddenly stopped. It was a tall, decently muscular girl with long fluffy cream white hair with beige undertones. Who looked… quite a lot like Sora.

Yukio tilted his head in confusion. Sora on the other hand, rolled his eyes. "We are just playing some pranks on bad people who deserve it, big sis." He said, tilting his head to indicate to her to look over into the street below.

It was Fuko, she had appeared out of nowhere. Or at least it seemed that way, they were known to be pretty elusive after all. She walked over to Sora and looked down at the street below, where she saw a middle aged man clutching his hand while looking around confusedly. She then moved her gaze to look at a familiar woman repeatedly bowing towards seemingly nothing.

Yukio looked at her. 'This is big bro's sister? She looks just like him… so that's what he'd look like if he was a girl? Is she as strong as him?' He wondered.

Fuko chuckled, looked at Sora and raised an eyebrow. "How the hell did you do that?" She asked with genuine curiosity.

Sora shook his head with a smile. "A magician never reveals his tricks." He said while shrugging.

Fuko rolled her eyes and turned to the other boy. "I haven't introduced myself. It is strange that Sora has finally got himself a friend, but I'm glad. My name is Fuko Hino and I am Sora's older sister." She smiled at Yukio.

The younger boy blushed a little and managed to smile back. "M-my name is Yukio Sunohara. It's nice to meet you, Big Sis." He stammered.

"Huh? I wasn't expecting his friend to be so… wimpy? Is that the right word?" Fuko hummed in thought, seemingly unaware that she had said that out loud.

But Yukio didn't seem to mind, he was more focused on her muscular arms. But immediately snapped back into focus when he saw her clap her hands.

"Yes. You may call me Big Sis from now on. I have always wanted another little brother. Who knew both of em' would be so… special looking." She said without any concern for Yukio's feelings and immediately examined his eyes. "Yup, definitely special."

Fuko then nodded to herself and looked back at Sora, who seemed just about done with her by now. "Show me, show me that trick. You don't have to explain it, just show me what it is. I'm a curious gal, Sora." She said, grinning at Sora.

He just sighed and pointed at a teenage boy leaning on a wall. "Keep a close eye on him." He advised before he clasped his hands around his mouth.

"Boo."

The teenage boy suddenly screamed, as if someone had just jumped at him out of nowhere. He then looked around in confusion and fear before running away.

Fuko rubbed her chin and then looked at Sora. "And what the hell was that?" She squinted, looking into his eyes.

Sora just shrugged. "A special technique that Yukio came up with, chakra stuff. Y'know." He smiled a little triumphantly at the fact he could do something that left his sister a little shocked.

Fuko glanced back at the scrawny pale kid. "You can do it too? Try it on me." She said with a polite smile.

Yukio suddenly shook his head violently. "N-no. I'm low on chakra, I can't use it any more. I'm limited to about five manipulations per day. And that is only with one sense at a time, I used 2 senses the previous time with sight and hearing and this time I used 3 with sight, touch and smell." He explained very well, enough for Fuko to roughly understand how the technique functioned, but not enough for her to use it herself.

Fuko sighed a little dejectedly. "That's okay I suppose, but next time you have to do it. Okay?" She asked.

Yukio nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, big sis. I will!"

Fuko just smiled and stood up. "Alright. I'll leave you two alone for now. Don't cause too much trouble." She said as she walked to the other end of the rooftop and disappeared into the crowds below.

Yukio looked at Sora with a sparkle in his eye. "Woah, big bro! Your sister is awesome!" He said, a little too enthusiastically for Sora but he didn't mind it.

Sora just kind of poured. "She's pretty cool, I guess." He agreed reluctantly. "Now then… my chakra has recovered enough for a couple more tricks…" he grinned and scanned the villagers below, who were all a bit confused and worried due to the three strange things that had happened in succession.

A few of them were actively trying to stop the woman from bowing, while a couple of fanatics had joined her in bowing to the Lord. Which amused the hell out of Sora.

And that's when Sora saw yet another familiar face. It was one of the two guards at Shuen's temple, the old man with the sword at his hip. Sora raised an eyebrow, a bit curious as to what he was doing here of all places.
