Inside the CEO's office Mu Xiu moved around the office before sitting down
"Brother you really have dramatic employees, thankfully your receptionist is sensible" Mu Xiu said as she sat down
"Anyway brother I will be going now, I still have two more deliveries to attend to" she said
"Okay then I will send you downstairs" Mu Ling offered
"No it's okay, I know that you're very busy" Mu Xiu declined
"Alright then, but give me a call when you get home" Mu Ling said
"Okay I will, bye" she said "be careful on the road" Mu Ling said with concern
"Yes I will,remember to eat your food before attending anymore meetings" she instructed, Mu Ling nodded in agreement she gave him a satisfied smile then she left the office on her way downstairs she received a lot of stares
"Have a nice day Miss Mu" the receptionist from earlier said respectfully
"You too" Mu Xiu replied surprising the receptionist, some other employees who witnessed their conversation was envious of the receptionist. Few minutes minutes later the receptionist received a call from the CEO's office that her salary has been doubled, she was so stunned that she couldn't react but she knew that it was because of Miss Mu. She was so happy that she posted it in their company's group chat, she didn't forget to shower Mu Xiu with praises Mu Xiu with praises. The company group chat immediately exploded.
Mu Xiu drove to Mu Mu Xiao's lab but this time she learnt a lesson, so she called him before she arrived to send someone to pick her up. When she got to the lab, a foreigner was waiting for her outside the building. The foreigner looked like an American, she wore a lab coat. As she was busy seizing up the young lady the foreigner had already walked up to her
"You must be Miss Mu" the lady said with certainty
"Yes I am and you are?" Mu Xiu asked even though she had already guessed the answer
"I'm Alicia, Doc. Mu sent me here to pick you up" the lady replied in fluent Chinese
"Oh then please lead the way" Mu Xiu said coolly
"Sure thing this way please" Alicia said gesturing to the door, as they entered into the building they passed through numerous check point but with Alicia it became easier to pass through. Finally they got to where Mu Xiao was, he wasn't the only one there they were other people dressed in white lab coat one of them was reporting something to Mu Xiao who was listening with a serious expression. Mu Xiao felt someone staring at him so he turned around, then he saw Mu Xiu standing a few metres away from him with a smile "Xiu you are already here" Mu Xiao said walking to her
"Yeah, sorry I took long in delivering yours I know that you must be hungry" Mu Xiu replied in an apologetic tone
"It's alright I don't mind" Mu Xiao said flashing a smile, Mu Xiu heart ached when she saw that her brother looked tired and stressed
"Doc. Mu is she your sister?" One of the female lab scientist asked
"Yes, she's my twin sister" Mu Xiao replied. The other workers got enlightened so they all greeted her warmly with a polite smile. "I have to give second brother his own food at the filming set so I will be leaving now" Mu Xiu said
"Okay, drive carefully on the road" Mu Xiao said with concern
"I will" she replied then she left. After leaving the lab, she drove a few away when her phone rang as she glanced at the ID caller she stopped and parked her car
"Sir" she greeted after picking up the phone
"Commander Mu report back to base immediately" the person said from the other line
"Okay Sir"Mu Xiu replied in a firm tone. After the call ended, Mu Xiu turned her car and drove to the base. It took her almost one hour to reach the base, after reaching the base she immediately reported to her superior.
