Chapter 208 - Chapter 208 Pegasus and Magic

Sensing movement above him, the Black Mage asked tentatively.

Once he was certain Galen Yu had truly returned, his expression suddenly became ecstatic.

"You've really returned! I heard the Alloy Wargod personally went to meet you. Is that true?"

Looking at the Black Mage's pale, grayish face—which had been frosted over from spending too much time on the wooden boat—Galen noted a rare hint of color returning to his cheeks.

Now seeing him, a rare touch of redness appeared.

"Yeah, it's true,"

Galen replied simply, causing the Black Mage to become even more excited.

His entire body trembled slightly as a few tears rolled down his face.

"I knew it! It must be true. I can feel that the chunk has changed since your return!"

"It's all my fault... really. How could I have been so foolish?"

"Respected Chunk Lord, please forgive my previous insolence. On behalf of myself, I offer you my most sincere apologies!"

Seeing the genuine remorse in his eyes, Galen didn't know whether to laugh or cry. If it weren't for the wooden boat, the Black Mage probably would have kowtowed nine times right then and there.

"Is the reaction to becoming a Medium Chunk Lord always this intense?"

"No, it's not just about being a Chunk Lord. You've shown me the future hope of Sky Island!"

"I am willing to accept any punishment you deem fit. I deserve it!"

Thinking it over, Galen turned back toward his chunk. He needed to consult the Wandering Mage on how to deal with the Black Mage.

He had been summoned by the Alloy Wargod so suddenly that he hadn't even finished harvesting his dragon eggs yet.

After longing for them for so long, he finally approached the dragon corpses.

The Wandering Mage had been waiting there for a while.

"You're finally back. I felt the Alloy Wargod's aura long ago. You..."

"Hold that thought. Let's find the eggs first!"

Judging by the Wandering Mage's expression, Galen knew a long explanation was coming. He wanted to secure the eggs first so they could chat properly later.

There were four dragon corpses in total, all massive Stage 5 Dragons.

Each one yielded forty bones, a variable amount of scales, and about half a stack of dragon blood.

His dragon resources were significantly replenished, but there was something even more important.

"Lightning Dragon Eggs!"

His luck was holding out; this time, he got two Lightning Dragon Eggs and one Fire Dragon Egg.

The fire eggs needed to be placed in flames to hatch, which was easy enough with a flint and steel. The lightning ones were more finicky.

Lightning Dragons were stronger, and their hatching conditions were much stricter. They required a thunderstorm, so he would have to wait for the right weather and hope for a bit of luck.

In a great mood, Galen turned to the Wandering Mage, whose face was flushed with suppressed words.

"I met the Alloy Wargod. He seemed like a decent guy. He told me to kill the Dragon Mother, end the Dragon of Execution, and become the King of Civilization."

As Galen recounted the meeting, the Wandering Mage's expression went blank, and he stood speechless for a long time.

Galen waved a hand in front of his face.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

"That... this is too much information. Let me process this."

"Did the Alloy Wargod really say that?"

Asking again in disbelief, the Wandering Mage finally snapped out of his trance.

"He did."

"Ending the Dragon of Execution... King of Civilization... *hiss*!"

The Wandering Mage knew little of the Large Chunks, only catching snippets of information here and there. However, he knew exactly how powerful the Dragon of Execution was.

In his mind, the Alloy Wargod was already an invincible god capable of slaughtering dragons at will, rarely suffering defeat. The Dragon of Execution was even more powerful than that!

This revelation completely shattered his worldview.

'Judging by the Wandering Mage's reaction, the Dragon of Execution is truly powerful.'

'We've all seen what regular dragons can do, haven't we?'

'If it came from the Alloy Wargod's own mouth, it must be true. It's at least stronger than the Alloy Wargod!'

'Are we really going to face an enemy like that? Just thinking about it gets my blood pumping!'

'Yeah, slaying a god!'

At the mention of those words, the audience's excitement reached a fever pitch. Slaying a god!

Two simple words that carried immense weight. In people's minds, anything associated with divinity was high and mighty, sacred and untouchable.

And Galen Yu was going to personally shatter their so-called godhood!

"Forgive me, but those things are too profound for me to offer much help with,"

"But if you need me, I will still stand by your side."

Since the Alloy Wargod had spoken, the Wandering Mage chose to believe as well. After making his promise, he continued.

"I don't know the situation in the Large Chunks, but if you want to defeat the Dragon Mother or the Dread Queen, I might be able to provide some assistance."

"This brings us to the distribution of Small and Medium Chunks."

"Fire, Ice, and Lightning Dragons are common in Small Chunks. Above them, there are other species."

"Dark, Light, Wind, and Crystal Dragons—the four elemental types—occupy the Medium Chunks."

"If you want to defeat the Dragon Mother, you must enter the Dragon Realm within the Medium Chunks. There, you will find even stronger Hybrid Dragons."

Only by overcoming these challenges would there be a chance to defeat the Dragon Mother. As for the Dread Queen, she resided in the Dread Realm, a place the Wandering Mage knew little about.

"That place is connected to black magic. You might want to ask him about it instead."

Galen nodded in understanding. He knew that in the standard Ice and Fire mod, there were only three types of dragons; things like Hybrid Dragons and Elemental Dragons were part of addon packs.

"It seems this Medium Chunk phase will be very content-rich."

Instead of fear, Galen felt pure joy. He wasn't afraid of difficulty; he was only afraid of boredom. With Elemental Dragons available, his plans for a Dragon Army would be even more diverse.

The strongest were the Hybrid Dragons, created from the bloodlines of two different Elemental Dragons to produce a superior beast.

They could use two different elemental abilities simultaneously. Raising a few would be both aesthetically pleasing and incredibly powerful.

Beyond those, Galen also knew of others: the Ancient Ender Dragon, the Cursed Black Dragon, Thor the Thunder Dragon, and Nidhogg the Poison Dragon!

If all these creatures existed here, he could tame them all and add them to his mount collection!

Their power levels were likely not far behind the Dragon Mother herself.

"By the way, since I'm now a Medium Chunk Lord, can I enter the inner regions of Sky Island?"

"Indeed. If you wish to go, I can lead the way."

Keen to see the inner reaches of Sky Island, Galen had the Wandering Mage guide him. With a wave of a staff, Galen's vision blurred, and a moment later, he was in a new environment.

It was still the familiar trees, grass blocks, and plains, but in the distance, winged Pegasi soared through the sky. He could see Stage 3 dragon nests on the ground and massive dragons flying overhead.

It was a world overflowing with fantasy and magic!

'Is this a literal fantasy world?'

'Magic and dragons... it definitely is!'

'The Block World really contains everything. It even has a magic realm!'

'Horses with wings? Pegasi?'

'This is more fantastical than the magic worlds I see in my dreams!'

'Why do I suddenly want to go to the Block World so badly?'

Many viewers, especially those from the West, fell in love with this setting and even wished they could become players themselves. However, someone soon let out a laugh.

"You want to go to the Block World again?"

"Sure, dream on. It's nice to dream."

"The Alliance members have all recognized a master and become dragon thralls. You think the fantasy world is going to be all sunshine and rainbows for you?"

"Sigh, this is God Yu's exclusive perspective. The Alliance?"

"They're nothing but a joke!"
