Chapter 76 - Chapter 76 More Enchantments, The Divine Bow is Complete

"Galen Yu is a god! Wait, there's another Galen Yu?"

"Holy crap, where did this Giant Galen Yu come from!"

"He's so big, so strong, so powerful... I mean the Giant!"

"As expected of Galen Yu, is he even handsome in giant form?"

"No, where did this thing come from? Did I skip a few chapters?"

"The great Galen Yu always manages to pull off these unexpected stunts!"

The audience was shocked when they saw the massive creature.

It looked exactly like Galen Yu, clad in iron armor, wielding a longsword nearly as large as seven or eight people combined.

Just standing there, it radiated an overwhelming sense of pressure!

Galen Yu, however, wasn't very surprised.

"It certainly captures my handsomeness."

Galen Yu nodded as he scrutinized the Giant Guardian.

Formally known as the Armored Giant, it spawned within Cloud Cottages and Thistle Castles.

It possessed a massive body and an extensive detection and attack range.

It was a Twilight Forest elite mob; after the first clear, the reward turned it into a Chunk Guardian, a loyal servant.

He had known about this from the rewards beforehand, so it came as no surprise.

With the combination of the Snow Queen and the Armored Giant, Galen Yu finally felt like a true Chunk Lord.

These elite bosses had a degree of independent thought, though they weren't as flexible as the Architect.

He allowed it to roam freely within the chunk.

The villagers curiously crowded around to gaze at the massive figure that had suddenly appeared.

Ignoring them, Galen Yu returned to his room.

Thanks to the Architect's expansions, the area was much larger than before.

The floor was constructed with slabs to prevent mob spawning. He opened a chest and deposited everything he had gathered over the past few days.

With limited slots, Galen Yu only took the most valuable resources.

"So much wood, emeralds, and copper ore?"

He noticed many more resources in the chests than when he had left; the quantities suggested the Architect had been working very hard.

After a brief reorganization, Galen Yu took out the Tri-Bow and approached the anvil.

[Tri-Bow — Tri-Bow [MULTISHOT I]]

[Tri-Bow [MULTISHOT] — Tri-Bow [MULTISHOT] [POWER V]]

[Tri-Bow [MULTISHOT] [POWER V] — Tri-Bow...]

Having slain so many mobs, Galen Yu had plenty of experience. As the enchantment books were consumed...

...a bow enchanted with [INFINITY], [MULTISHOT], [POWER], and [UNBREAKING] was soon in his hands.

He gave it a quick test; nine arrows flew out simultaneously in a single shot.

The divine bow was complete!

Now that he had the bow, and considering enchantment books would eventually run out, he had to craft an Enchanting Table.

He had obtained diamonds in the Twilight Forest and farmed plenty of books in the Lich Tower; all he lacked now were four blocks of obsidian.

First, he crafted the books into bookshelves and arranged them in the corners of a suitable open space. Then, Galen Yu turned his gaze toward the Nether Portal.

"The portal only needs ten blocks to function. The four corners I left out are perfect for making enchantment books!"

With obsidian as the base, diamonds filling the corners, and a rotating book in the center...

Placed in the center of the bookshelves, the closed book fanned open as it felt the power of the surrounding knowledge.

Knowledge materialized into physical characters, drifting from the bookshelves into the Enchanting Table.

Enchanting Tables were also tiered.

A lone Enchanting Table could only provide basic enchantments; it had to be upgraded with bookshelves to evolve and grant better attributes.

With sixteen bookshelves upgrading it, all he needed next was experience and lapis lazuli.

The swift creation of the Enchanting Table sparked a discussion among the viewers.

"A tool made of books? This thing doesn't look simple at all!"

"It's come to life! It can actually absorb knowledge from bookshelves?"

"It looks like it's related to magic. This thing isn't going to manifest another Giant Galen Yu, is it?"

"I think I've seen this somewhere. Right, it's called an Enchanting Table. It can enchant items!"

"A contestant from Hans Nation encountered one in the last civilization. Apparently, the effects are quite good?"

"Wait, this thing can actually absorb knowledge from books? Books really are useful!"

The block world had many resources; some were vital, while others, like bricks or concrete blocks, had no practical use and were purely decorative.

Not all resources were useful; there were many useless blocks in the world.

Everyone had previously thought books belonged to this category and discarded them like trash.

Now, Galen Yu had truly discovered their purpose!

And from the looks of it, the utility was significant!

Having saved some lapis lazuli, he first enchanted his Fiery gear.

His luck was quite good; the first set of enchantments yielded attributes like Protection, Feather Falling, Unbreaking, and Mending. Among them, Feather Falling was an advanced version from the 'More Enchants' content.

This meant that if he fell from forty blocks high, he would only lose three hearts of health; the protection strength was incredibly high.

"The Enchanting Table can actually generate advanced content. In that case..."

The same item could only be enchanted once at the Enchanting Table.

However, if the attributes differed, gear could hold many enchantments. To achieve this...

Enchantment books were essential.

One only needed to place a book on the Enchanting Table, enchant it, and then merge it at an anvil—a process that only cost a bit of cheap experience!

However, his luck didn't hold. After exhausting his lapis lazuli, he only obtained two books from the 'More Enchants' content.

[RUNE: PIERCING ARROW I]

[Allows arrows to ignore enemy armor, increasing armor penetration by 25% per level. Extremely rare. Applicable to bows. Max level 4.]

[ELECTRIC GRID I]

[Connects the impact points of arrows with beams of lightning, dealing damage when enemies touch them.]

The quantity was small, but the quality was superb.

One ignored armor through penetration.

The other allowed fired arrows to form a power grid connected by light beams, dealing continuous lightning damage to any creature that touched it.

After adding both to his Tri-Bow, Galen Yu couldn't stop grinning.

The basic enchantments were already strong enough; with the addition of these 'More Enchants' bonuses, there was no telling what kind of deterrent the Tri-Bow would become!

"Is it getting dark?"

After spending the whole day near the Enchanting Table, the sky had darkened without him noticing.

The Sky Island had been meticulously optimized by Galen Yu and the Architect so that no mobs would spawn.

But that didn't stop the random chunk generation, which forcibly increased difficulty under the guise of providing resources.

"My brave and invincible Sovereign, a massive area has appeared outside! A swarm of zombies is charging toward us, blotting out the sky!"

Stepping out of his room, Galen Yu finally noticed the blood-red moon hanging in the sky.

Tonight was a Blood Moon!

The zombies would be more numerous and much stronger!

"Just in time!"

He had just been lamenting the lack of opponents to practice his archery on, and now they were delivering themselves to his doorstep.

He followed the Architect up the Great Wall and stood at the summit.

Standing at such a height for the first time, he looked at the chunk that had generated right against the wall.

The area was vast, a small plain made of three-layered grass blocks.

The terrain was open, resembling Superflat survival, with many green slimes hopping around.

It looked relatively peaceful for now only because it wasn't yet time for night-time mob spawning.

It was foreseeable just how many zombies would appear once the Crisis Blood Moon hit!

"The second Crisis evolution just happened, and tonight is already a Blood Moon!"

"The intensity is visibly high. They say zombies awaken special physiques—what will that be like?"

"To have such a large area suddenly appear, Galen Yu must be under immense pressure!"

"The zombies are too strong, and they've evolved once again..."

"It feels so eerie... it's getting terrifying!"
