Chapter 30 - KHRA'GIXX ARBOR: BULL & WORRIOR

‎Meanwhile, back at the Khra'gixx Arbor dungeon.

‎In the depths of the dungeon, Cyan continued his ascension up the tower, his footsteps echoing off the cold, stone walls.

‎He'd now reached floor 49, and his total kill count was 500.

‎The forty-nineth floor was a resting floor. Cyan sat on a rock inside the dungeon, as the digital screen appeared mid-air, displaying

‎"First task completed".

‎Another message followed, clearly elven but translated. displaying

‎"Second task: kill 500 more before you reach floor 100".

‎Cyan's eyes narrowed, a faint smile spreading across his face.

‎"500 more, huh. Not a challenge worthy of me. Now I know just how much this dungeon's worth," he spoke, his voice low and confident, as he stood up and started walking towards the entrance to the 50th floor.

‎His eyes burning with intensity, glowing a faint crimson in the dark, the sound of his leather boots echoing through the walls.

‎(I for one think the break was too short lived🤔 you should have took a good rest bro😂)

‎As he climbed the stairs.

‎The air atmosphere grew increasingly ominous, the darkness pulsating with a life of its own.

‎The shadows seemed to twist and writhe around him, casting eerie silhouettes on the walls.

‎He was finally on the 50th floor.

‎The creatures of the dungeon, a small horde of monsters, greeted him with a cacophony of growls and snarls, their eyes glowing with an otherworldly crimson light, their bloodthirst almost palpable.

‎Cyan's sword flashed in the darkness, the whooshing sound echoing through the room, followed by a sharp slash sound, the monsters falling to his blade, their bodies crumbling to the ground.

‎The darkness was insane.

‎Yet, in the very heart of the darkness, Cyan's eyes glowed red and seemed to adjust, his night vision awareness kicking in, allowing him to see more clearly in the dimly lit environment.

‎"I might be reading into things, but I think I can see more effectively than when I began," was the passing thought.

‎He looked at his hand, the lines etched on his palm like a map of his own destiny.

‎"Affirmative, night vision awareness has been forcibly adjusted due to overwhelming darkness. " Orion's voice spoke in his mind, the sound Ai.

‎"That's good news, this darkness was starting to become a pain, I can see more clearly at the very least," Cyan replied. Voice young yet mature.

‎Eyes scanning the surroundings, taking in every detail.

‎As seconds ticked by with a relentless pace, Cyan slaughtered every monster he encountered, leaving a trail of dead bodies in his wake, the total kill count rising to 640.

‎He pressed onward, his determination unwavering, his heart beating with a steady rhythm, his breath calm and controlled.

‎"Is that a door? I am not sure it's too dark? But it does look like One." he thought.

‎He finally saw a door ahead of him, even in the suppressing darkness, he could tell it was a door, the outline of the frame like a beacon in the night.

‎Eyes narrowed as he studied the door, his mind working overtime to analyze the situation.

‎"This is no different from the last floor, but for some reason, this feeling... A trap, perhaps... This is the 50th floor, after all. Not to mention the overwhelming amount of aura pouring out of this one," Cyan pondered.

‎He placed his hand on his chin, his fingers tracing the contours of his jawline.

‎"Well, it doesn't matter anyway, I will kill every breathing thing inside and get stronger... Whatever it takes," he thought, his inner voice turning deeper.

‎Cold.

‎Detached.

‎He placed his fingers on the door and pushed it.

‎His muscle's burst

‎With a struggle it opened, the creak of the hinges echoing through the silence, the movement releasing torrents howling tempest winds that pushed back his hair and fabric into a frenzy.

‎Pushing him back.

‎Wind howled and died down.

‎He stepped into the room, the thick darkness enveloping him like a living black smoke, an untouchable entity, its presence almost palpable.

‎The air was heavy with an extreme level of natural aura, and Cyan could feel the weight of the unknown bearing down upon him, the silence like a living thing, waiting for him to make his move.

‎Suddenly;

‎The dark space erupted in a spectacular display of light, with each luminaire blazing with an intense blue fire that enveloped the entire chamber.

‎Cyan's eyes closing reflexively.

‎The flash of light filling his eyes, blinded by the light for a while, the sound of crackling flames and the scent of ozone filling the air.

‎He opened his eyes, his vision returning, he was welcomed by a grand open ground, that almost looked like an arena, his eyes widened as he saw what was in front of him.

‎Before him stood a minotaur.

‎A creature of legend and myth, its body a fusion of bull and warrior, it stood on its hind legs, its muscles rippling beneath its armor as it wielded a massive two-edged sword that seemed to shine with a life of its own.

‎The sword was a monstrous thing, blade, as long as about 2 meters. Cyan looked directly at the minotaur with intent.

‎A red digital screen appeared in terms of the dungeon design, the sudden switch of color from blue to red seemed like a threat.

‎A warning.

‎Cyan didn't notice the digital screen appearing, too frozen from the horror that was etched on his face.

‎In the clean light.

‎His sword clearly dripping with blue.

‎Green, red, and black, the difference in color of blood proving the different types of monsters he'd killed along the way.
