Chapter 14 - Training Dummy Vogue, Class Monitor: Claire

With a 'Ding', he arrived at the 10th floor. He stepped into the hallway and immediately saw a young man in his late thirties carrying a kid.

The man stared at Vogue with a burning gaze.

Vogue blinked his eyes and scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. "Manager Tim. I-I don't swing that way."

Manager Tim's eyes twitched, and he took in a deep breath. "YOU—" he immediately paused and looked at the kid sleeping in his arms.

He glared at Vogue and then spoke softly. "Training room 31. Hurry!"

Glad the baby was there and that Vogue wouldn't scold him, he nodded happily.

"Got it, boss."

Then he stepped back into the elevator and pressed the third floor.

In a few seconds, he was on the third floor. Then he went ahead to look for room 31 and knocked.

"Come in."

The door automatically unlocked. Vogue pushed it and walked in.

The Training Room was larger than Vogue had expected. She must have rented the luxury room.

There were two combat bots fixed in their charging station. A large ring that took up half the apartment, then, in one corner, was an Holo-TV, furniture, food, and a sofa, too.

Vogue raised an eyebrow in surprise. Renting such a room has cost a lot of money.

Just as he was looking around and thinking about how much it would cost to rent a room like this, he saw a figure seated on the sofa from the corner of his eye, watching a combat program on the Holo-Tv.

The moment the figure looked back, he immediately recognized who this person was.

It was the class monitor, Claire Wynter.

Vogue was slightly taken aback. It had been a while since he had set his gaze on her.

Her beautiful face was as still as ever. Nothing ever made her expression ripple in the slightest and not even the mention of Sunfiends would create a ripple on her face.

A few students speculated that she might have been born with her face muscles paralyzed. As the trash of the school, of course Vogue didn't have any chance to come in contact with the number one Ice beauty in the entire school.

With her icy gaze, not many guys had the courage to even come close to her not to mention speaking or confessing to her.

She was also friends with his childhood sweetheart, Hazel. Hazel had broken up with him 2 weeks ago. Which was a week before the original Vogue had died.

The details regarding the breakup was simple. He remembered the phrase she used when she broke up with him. 'Dragons don't mingle with worms'.

The original Vogue didn't blame her. After all, there was less than 10 percent chance he would be able to survive the Osympic Test which meant there was 90 percent chance he would transform into a Radiant Sunwalker.

"You're the one Manager Tim spoke highly of." Claire dropped the tea she was sipping on and stood up as she examined Vogue expressionlessly.

"How much cells have you evolved?" She suddenly asked in a straightforward manner.

Vogue's brows scrunched up. It was rude to ask someone their strength but even then, he replied her truthfully.

"70 percent."

Claire paused and stare at him as though surprised. And it was right for her to be surprised. As far as she knew, Vogue had been the trash of the school for more the four years now.

She and everyone thought he would still be struggling to evolve 40 percent of his cells not knowing he had actually evolved 70 percent secretly.

Certainly, people would be shocked during the Osympic Test.

Clare nodded her head. "That would do."

She suddenly reached for her bathrobe and suddenly undressed right in front of Vogue.

However, she already had in a sport bra and a tight combat pant then headed to the combat ring.

Vogue took it as a sign to also climb the ring.

"I booked you for 30 minutes. I hope you can make me happy till then."

Claire said expressionlessly as she stretched her muscles.

Vogue raised an eyebrow at the double entendre wondering if she meant to say it.

He also entered the ring and stood 30 meters across from Claire.

"Ready when you ar—"

"Boom!"

The ground gave out a loud but muffled explosion as Claire vanished from his line of sight.

Vogue's face changed at the insane speed.

"What the—"

"Bang!"

A massive force immediately collided with the side of his head.

He was instantly disoriented as his body was lifted off the ground, slamming into the ropes of the ring and then bouncing back to the arena and then twice in the floor.

By the time Vogue came to, he stared back and saw Claire standing coldly where she had previously been as though she hadn't moved.

She stared at him coldly. "If this is what I paid for, then I've been scammed."

Vogue's face twitched in anger and embarrassment. 'Ancestor, I wasn't ready yet.'

Vogue harrumphed and stood back up. His face turned serious as he cracked his neck.

"I was simply trying to ease you into it. Let's go again."

Before Vogue's word had escaped his mouth, Claire suddenly vanished like a ghost.

Vogue's gaze hardened and he immediately erupted with his evolved cells.

The trillions of evolved cells that had been dormant within instantly exploded with massive amount of energy.

Currently, Vogue had evolved 70 percent of his cells which meant he is currently in the 7th phase of the evolution realm.

He had evolved his blood cells, brain cells, bone cells, muscle cells, neural cells and others. What was left to evolve was skin cells which increased the toughness of his skin, brain cells which improves his calculation skills and will cells, the ability to control the body perfectly.

With his brain cells and neural cells evolved, Vogue was able to react instantaneously at 1-2 millisecond!

At this reaction speed, he could easily evade or catch bullet with his bare hand.
