It is the usual day at the Crime Investigation Department. For some reason, Rosa been hanging out with Blanc Quartz, a Sleuth from Security Patrol Department. Even Luz surprise to see Rosa attitude change and she never cling to him as usual. Brun Giada, Bleu's fiance, the Sergeant from Security Patrol Department often come to meet Bleu and providing her the juicy information about them which eventually become juicy topic among Mavi and Violet. Noir just shake her head as she been drag into the conversation often causing Noir suspected that Bleu behaviour has rubbed onto his fiance. Luz on the other hand letting them do whatever they want as long as they didn't spread any fake rumour about it.
That evening Rosa come into Luz office room before she clocks up for the day. After she close the door, she stands in front of Luz silently as if try to find a way to speak up her mind. Luz waits patiently as he knows Rosa struggle and need her time to convey her thought. Rosa sighed heavily.
"Rosa, are you alright? You can tell me even it is personal. I won't tell anyone about it." Luz spoke up with concern when Rosa keep being silent.
"Can I sit down?" Rosa asked. Luz nodded given permission to her to sit down.
"So, is there anything bothering you?" Luz asked gently.
"You know from the beginning I meet you, I have a crush on you. Even when I confess to you, you rejected me and still be kind to me. These past few months we are living under the same roof; I realize your heart already with someone else. I decide to give up on this one side love and eventually I found someone that cherish every little thing I done. When I realise, you're a royalty, I know I will never have any chance to be into your world. Then, he came into my life." Rosa spilled up.
"That man is Blanc, isn't it?" Luz interrupted. Rosa nodded.
"He treats me sincerely and care for me. I never feel like this before. Do you hate me for being like a spoil girl this all time?" Rosa added.
"I don't hate you, Rosa. Maybe annoy a little but you are my friend just like Mavi. I really happy when you find someone you love and i wish you happy always." Luz said making Rosa smiles.
"So, when you want to make a move to Noir?" Rosa teased earning a blush on Luz face.
"You both suit for each other. Never imagine a she-devil like her is your type." Rosa added. Luz laughed.
"Yeah, she really makes my life becomes crazy after transfer here. I never imagine to be working with chaotic department like this but really organise and efficient." Luz said making Rosa laughed out.
"I hope you tell her about your feeling quickly. I heard from Blanc she really has many fans all over the Alliance." Rosa said.
"Wish me good luck, then." Luz replied. After a few chats, Rosa walks out from the office and go back to the mansion with a relief heart.

Another peaceful day at the Crime Investigation Department. Violet sits next to the entrance while looking at her watch earning a puzzle to Rosa, Luz and Mavi that talking at Mavi workstation.
"Safe!" Noir yelled when she stops at the door panting like she runs a marathon.
"Break another record!" Violet shouted making all the members in the department sweat drop to see their antic.
"Did they need to do like this every morning?" Luz asked Ian.
"No actually. This always happen when Sergeant Noir and Violet having the same shift together. Literally every morning. I wonder, how come Lieutenant can come early while Sergeant Noir always come nearing her shift hour? Didn't both of you stay in the same mansion?" Ian answered.
"I also wonder the same thing because when I go to work, she already out from the mansion." Luz said.
A cough from behind making all of them frozen up. Noir turned her head and saw a man in the late 40's accompany by another man in the late 30's standing at the entrance of the door with serious faces.
"Good morning, Sergeant Noir." the man in 40's said while the other man sigh. Noir panicked and quickly salute him.
"Good morning, Captain Cloud." Noir greeted him.
"Lieutenant Luz, Sergeant Noir meet me at my office now." Cloud ordered.
"Sir, yes sir." Both of them said with unison. Cloud and the other man walk away toward Cloud's office room.
"I'm dead." Noir widen her eyes.
"Wish you luck." Violet teased her while both Luz and Noir walk toward their captain's room.
In Cloud's office room...
"Please have a seat you two." Cloud said. both Noir and Luz sit in front of Cloud. the other man hand over a batch of paper to both of them.
"Shadow, I have secret mission for both of you." Cloud said. Both Noir and Luz read the contents in the paper given by the man called, Geel.
"So, both of us need to be under disguise or what?" Luz asked after finish reading it.
"No need to. I give both of you two weeks to gather intel on this matter." Cloud said.
"Where do we start?" Noir asked.
"Epiphyllum Town. You will be on leave starting tomorrow because you need to attend family matters in your hometown. On the other hand, Silver, you will accompany Noir in disguise of an inspection officer at the Epiphyllum Alliance and Lily Alliance. You need to write the inspection report based on this format and give it directly to Sir Grey. Geel, give him the letter so that both of them can enter the palace." Cloud explained.
"Just the two of us?" Luz wondered.
"There's a rat, isn't it?" Noir suspected.
"You are sharp, Noir. We haven't found yet, but we suspect that every Alliance must have one or two rat." Cloud agreed.
"How about we ask Phantom to trace it?" Silver suggested making the three of them look at Luz.
"Only Sir Grey know Phantom's identity. I already give mission to other Shadow to trace down any rat in this Alliance. You never know maybe Phantom is eavesdropping right now." Cloud said looking at Luz and look into Noir eyes. Noir just smiles.
"Alright then, go and prepare for tomorrow. Noir, I already inform this to your father. They know about your mission." Cloud said. Noir nodded and both she and Luz walk out from that room.
As their on the way going back to their department, Luz wonder about Cloud said to Noir.
"Captain know your father?" Luz asked.
"My father once working under Captain Cloud when he still a Lieutenant at my hometown." Noir explained.
"No wonder. So, why Captain Cloud ask you to take a leave then?" Luz asked. Noir look at her surrounding afraid if there anyone eavesdropping. Luz notices her behaviour and acting like he asking the reason of Noir's long vacation.
"My family ask me to go back for discussion about marriage proposal." Noir said after she notice there is a figure hiding not far from the storeroom. She signals toward Luz making Luz realise he need to act fast.
"Are you saying you will get engage?" Luz act surprised. Noir nodded.
"You also going to the Epiphyllum Town as Inspection Officer. When will you depart tomorrow?" Noir asked.
"I think maybe around 9 o'clock in the morning. I'm taking train there. How about you?" Luz answered.
"Well, I'm riding there by horse." Noir replied earning a shock from Luz.
"Seriously?! Let's me accompany you. It is dangerous for a woman to travel alone." Luz said.
"But... I..." Noir stop talking when they arrive at the entrance of their department. Both of them realise the figure already disappear when they near the department.
"I don't care." Luz said and stomped into his office.
"Fine. Bleu it is our turn to patrol." Noir said. the other members confused to see their behaviour.
Mavi and Rosa look at each other and decide to go into Luz's office room. As they enter, they saw Luz stare outside the window.
"Luz..." Mavi said with hesitation.
"Mavi, you will be in-charge of this department for two weeks starting tomorrow. Rosa, you cover Noir job for two weeks as she is on vacation starting tomorrow." Luz said directly toward them.
"Yes, Lieutenant." Mavi said as he already know about Luz mission but not Noir.
"Noir taking a long leave? Why?" Rosa wondered. Luz sighed and turned toward the window once more. He stared out for a second before answer Rosa question.
"She's getting engage." Luz said making both of them shocked.
