Jessica found herself trapped in a cruel game orchestrated by her adopted father. He drugged her and sent her to a man's bed. By the time her adopted sister returned, their father had already sold her to yet another man.

Caught between a passionate affection she cannot return and a rough love she covets, Jessica faced a difficult decision: whom should she choose?

"Mr. Hans, I am sorry for the commotion," Raymond said. "Please, let us go inside the conference room and take a seat. My secretary has prepared some refreshments."


Edward stared blankly at Raymond, understanding him well but faking confusion to avoid the meeting. Looking sideways, he caught Jessica's silhouette advancing toward the elevator.


He glanced at his assistant, and Anton immediately leaned over, nodding as Edward quietly gave instructions. Then Edward turned toward the elevator and purposefully followed Jessica.


Raymond panicked as he watched Edward leave, confused by his sudden departure and unsure why he had abandoned the meeting.


"Mr. Hans!" he called out, following him behind. But then, Anton blocked his way.


"Mr. Collins, can we begin the meeting now?"


Raymond paused for a moment, his worried expression transforming into one of relief. "Ah, yes, of course!" he agreed with zeal, leading Anton and his company inside.
