Llana said bluntly, causing the other trainees to gasp in surprise. Her straightforwardness was shocking, especially in front of JYP.
Wow… she's really bold," Jeongyeon muttered from the Minor side, eyes wide.
Chaeyoung leaned closer to Dahyun, whispering, "Wa… she's so cool," her jaw practically dropping.
Dahyun nodded in amazement, eyes widening in disbelief. 'I don't think I'd have the guts to say something like that to PD-nim', she thought.

"You left the newest trainee and the oldest trainee for last. Isn't that harsh? Especially for Jihyo unnie, being compared to someone new."
"Why? do you think you'll be placed in the Major group?" JYP pressed, his interest piqued.
"Of course!" Llana responded confidently, then quickly bowed to Jihyo. "Sorry, Jihyo unnie."
Jihyo froze for a second before bowing back awkwardly. "N-No, it's okay."
The other trainees murmured in astonishment at Llana.
"Confidence starts by believing in yourself. If I don't believe in myself, who will?" Llana continued, her voice steady and sure.
JYP laughed again, clearly impressed. "That's a very arrogant statement, but I think you can back it up... Llana, please join the Major group."
The trainees gasped in surprise as Llana bowed at Jihyo in Consolation before walking confidently to the Major's side.
"Jihyo, you'll be in the Minor group," JYP concluded, his tone gentle but firm.
"If I were to choose, I'd put you on the Major side," JYP said, tilting his head slightly, a small grimace on his face. "But the trainers and the A&R team must have their reasons."
Jihyo nodded quietly, struggling to hold back the tears welling in her eyes. She took a deep breath, a mix of disappointment and determination crossing her face.
"To the Majors, I'll present a token,"
JYP announced, stepping toward the Major group. One by one, he placed a necklace around each of their necks, the pendant engraved with a bold 'SEVENTEEN,' symbolizing their new status as Majors. After finishing, JYP returned to the judge's area.
"So far, the results have been based solely on your performances, not my personal opinions," he remarked, looking at the contestants with a serious expression.
"Over the next three months, I'll be getting to know each of you better. Now, it's time to discuss something crucial....your first mission."
He paused dramatically, letting the suspense build. "The name of the first mission is… 'Are You a STAR?'"
"For this mission, it doesn't matter what you choose to do, but I need to see your potential to become a star. I need to feel that you're destined for it."

As the session ended, Llana and the other contestants walked out of the studio, heading one by one to the confession room for interviews.
Inside the booth, Llana took a seat, and the camera focused on her as the interviewer began.
"How did you feel when you first walked into the studio?"
"Like everyone else, I was really nervous," Llana admitted. "The moment I stepped onto the stage, it felt like my heart was going to leap out of my chest. The anticipation, the excitement...it was overwhelming."
"Did you truly believe you'd be placed in the Major group?"
"I believed in my abilities, but I wasn't completely confident," Llana confessed. "Jihyo unnie has been training for 10 years. She's experienced, far more prepared than someone like me who's only been here for two months. The trainers and the A&R team are also much more familiar with her. So it's kinda unexpected."
"When you heard you were in the Major group, how did that make you feel?"
"It was a mix of emotions," Llana said thoughtfully. "I was really happy to be recognized despite being a new trainee, but I also felt sad for Jihyo unnie. I know how heartbroken she must have been, and I felt guilty about it. But I also know that Jihyo unnie is incredibly strong; she's not someone who gives up easily."
"What can you say to the Minors who are eager to take your necklace for the first task?"
Llana smirked, eyes sparkling with mischief as she glanced at the camera. "Go ahead… try and take it."
