Before leaving, Vale told Roxy about going hunting with Agul. She was about to advise him against going, but remembering what had happened earlier that day, she decided not to. From her calculations, even though these tribesmen were strong, they wouldn't pose much of a threat unless they ganged up against him. Even then, she doubted they would be able to stop him from running away.
In the end, she just gave him a warning not to trust these people easily. To this, he just waved her off.
It wasn't that he didn't plan on taking her seriously, in fact he had never truly trusted these tribesmen. If he could gather more information about them during this hunting trip then it would be for the best.
Agul was waiting outside and after picking up his trusty dagger which he had decided to name Fang—even though it was actually a claw—Vale followed behind him.
