Chapter 2 - Chapter - Reincarnation

The mortal realm was vast beyond comparison. It had three thousand worlds and trillions of major minor worlds. Every living creature, before birth, would have its good and bad deeds evaluated by the judges. And what a huge task it was! Thus, the entire Underworld Realm had trillions of judges who were responsible for judging the dead souls of the trillions of worlds. But Cui Jue was the leader of all the judges and was titled the first judge. He was the true keeper of the Book of Life and Death. His power was so great that he was practically on the same level as the ten kings of Hell.

"Let's go! Walk quickly and pass through the portal of despair.", said the Minotaur another impatient,

"Go ahead, in a short time you have passed through the Bridge of Despair. After passing through the bridge and drinking Elder Meng's Elixir of Oblivion, you will be able to be reborn."

Myth was among those souls who were headed to the point of despair, his spiritual body scarred by whippings, if he took a few more lashes, his soul might have shattered.

The Road of the Yellow Springs was full of fog. Countless souls were making their way through it.

In front of him, the fog was very thick. All the souls that entered there disappeared and never returned.

And suddenly, he felt as if space-time had changed.

"So this is the point of despair...". Myth looked at the road ahead, full of curves and undulations, sometimes visible, sometimes translucent.

"Before I entered, there were several souls, but now I see very few." Myth thought it was strange.

'Maybe to the point it's a kind of trial? So be it, I'm going to hurry.'

Walking through the point, Myth noticed several bizarre scenes, it seems that there were souls with a depressive feeling, and these souls went through 'obstacles', where

they can't avoid it, sometimes it's rats gnawing at souls, others are bees, or even pools of blood, they don't avoid it, as if it were their destiny to pay with their lives for all the harm already done.

'Good thing I did good deeds in my life, even if it wasn't deliberate, I didn't do any bad deeds either, if not, I'd be like them.'

The bridge was surrounded by the river, where one could hear the wails of souls, but Next to the river of oblivion, there were countless beautiful flowers.

Not far from the bridge, was a precious jewel that shone with a light creating many different images. It was the legendary 'Gem of Three Lives' referring to the 'Previous Life', the 'Current Life', and the 'Next Life'.

Not far from the Gem of the three lives, there was a dais stone. It was 'Dais da Vista a Casa'. After the souls passed the Dais, they would reach the elder Meng.

Elder Meng was a seemingly very ordinary old grandmother. She held a bowl of water in her hands and handed it to each soul to drink. After drinking, the souls would become sluggish and appear to be in a trance. Thus, they automatically started walking towards one of the six rebirth tunnels behind Elder Meng.

"Divinity, Demon, Human, Beast, Wandering Spirit, and Abyss." Myth fixed his gaze on the intensely gloomy tunnels behind the elder Meng.

"I'm not going to drink, I'm not going to drink, I don't want to forget, I don't want to forget..."

Many ghosts struggled

No matter how hard they fought, they were swept away by an invisible and irresistible power. When they approached the elder Meng, they were forced to swallow her Elixir. No cry, no wailing saved them: yet they drank. And as he drank, his emotions and memories dissolved into emptiness. What was left was no longer them.

'Which kingdom shall I enter? In theory, it would be my karma to reincarnate into the human realm, but soon the dragons should appear, and I will enjoy the chaos and reincarnate in a higher world, with my memories intact.'

Elder Meng suddenly raised his head.

She looked far away at the heavens and then, her ancient voice said in fury. 'Insolent!'

Hong!

Heaven and earth trembled as if they were about to shatter into countless fragments. The Sky around it began to fracture slowly, like glass under pressure, and each crack

spread out in chaotic directions, opening cracks that revealed the void beyond. The thick fog that enveloped everything broke and crumbled into whirlwinds, dissipating like torn veils, until it exposed the countless ghosts that waited in long rows in the outside world. The fissures in space not only revealed, but also consuming: many of the ghosts were swallowed up by the cracks and reduced to dust, as if they had never existed. It was a spectacle of annihilation, in which each soul crumbled like fragile bubbles that burst at the touch of the wind. Countless spirits disappeared in sequence, one after the other, dissolving in silence and, at the same time, in piercing screams. The air was filled with cries of misery, laments that echoed like a chorus of infinite pain. Each voice was a fragment of suffering, each scream a memory forcibly torn away. The whole world seemed to collapse into a sea of agony, where nothing remained, and everything crumbled into dust and oblivion.

"Hong!" "Hong!" "Hong!" "Hong!" "Hong!" The sound echoed like ancient thunder, reverberating through the air and shaking the space itself. In the vast sky, countless black dragons loomed, their immense silhouettes resembling winding mountain ranges that moved with a life of their own. Each creature was so colossal that it seemed to carry with it the weight of forgotten ages, and its scales, dark and shimmering, emanated a chill that would freeze even the bravest heart. Myth, astonished, could make out every detail: the metallic sheen of the scales, the outline of the wings that stretched out like veils of shadow, and the piercing gaze that seemed to cross worlds.

The dragons did not fly silently, they charged forward fiercely snaking in majestic movements, as if celebrating their own existence in a spectacle of power and freedom. Then, in unison, each of the dragons opened their colossal jaws and spewed out torrents of black lightning. Heaven lit up with a gloomy storm, where rays of darkness intertwined and fell like devastating currents. It was as if Heaven itself was being torn apart by invisible claws, and the whole world was witness to an ancient fury that could not be contained.

Instantly, trillions of rays of black light appeared. Each of them causing the heavens and the earth to break.

"The formation of the Life and Death of the Calamity Dragons? How dare you attack the Six Paths of Reincarnation? It is a grave sin! Elder Meng shouted with unbridled fury.

Transforming into a beam of light, she flew into the tens of millions of black dragons in the sky.

Instantly, the countless black dragons surrounded Granny Meng.

Honglonglong...

The world was broken, and the murky waters of the river of oblivion were beginning to form waves. Any ghosts that touched those waters were instantly dispelled. The Bridge of Despair broke, and the ghosts atop the Bridge of Despair fell directly into the river of oblivion. As for the Six Paths of Reincarnation, those immensely deep tunnels, they began to churn, and light was shining from within their depths.

Observing the Chaos, Myth was stunned.

"I don't have time to be stunned, I need to run and jump into the biggest portal I can find." As soon as he finished speaking, there were huge explosions next to him, which sent him flying dozens of meters.

Looking around, he noticed that a dragon swung a wing not far from him.

"Hahaha, who would care if a way like me died here." Looking around even though he was badly injured by the shock wave, he noticed that there was a portal next to him, although it wasn't the biggest there was, but it was bigger than the human portals.

Then he crawled and fell.

Myth felt an overwhelming pain in her head, as if invisible claws were tearing her from the inside, trying to fight her way through her mind. His neck burned in torment, and his whole body seemed crushed by relentless pressure, as if the world itself was weighing on him.

Hua!

Suddenly, the pain melted away in an instant of relief, replaced by a biting cold that penetrated to the bones. A breath of fresh air invaded his mouth, filling his lungs with an unprecedented sensation. It was Myth's first breath since his death, a breath that marked a new beginning.

Wow! As he inhaled deeply, Myth couldn't contain his impulse: a scream erupted from his throat, pure and instinctive. It was the cry of a child.

"It's a boy! Madam, Lord! It's a boy!" Announced the voice, full of emotion and surprise.

"HAHAHA! Good job, dear! I'm a father! My first child is a boy!" The man exclaimed, laughing with unbridled joy, as if the whole universe had turned into celebration at that moment.
