RUBY
There was a woman here, wherever I was.
All I could remember was being on my knees and drinking from that cup. Whatever it was, it wasn't pure and I was sure of it.
I saw my soul leave my body. It was taken to a forest, the cleanest you could ever imagine.
And I mean, green everywhere, the type of green that wasn't too dark and could be a favorite color. Then some red, some yellow, some purple, even blues. Flowers everywhere, almost like a garden but one that had tall giant trees.
And between the beds of flowers she stepped out carrying and aura that was both sweet and frightening.
Her face looked kind, her eyes were full of life. But there death also resided.
My first instinct after allowing myself the pleasure of my surroundings was to run. Because if there was anything father taught me, it was that if you looked in the eyes of a person and there's both danger and safety, run.
